The sitting room offers an inviting place to pause after days on the sand, where relaxed seating, a Smart TV, and glimpses out to the garden set the tone for slow mornings or unwinding evenings.

The kitchen/diner brings everyone together, complete with an electric oven and hob, fridge, fridge/freezer, and all the essentials for simple mealtimes, alongside a second TV for laid-back breakfasts or quiet afternoons. Three bedrooms provide thoughtful sleeping arrangements for families or friends, including a king-size room, a double, and a twin, while the bathroom features a bath with shower over, basin, and WC.

With WiFi, games, and books available, days can start slowly before wandering out to explore. Walcott Stores is the local shop and post code, just down the street.

The dog friendly Kingfisher cafe and chip shop and the Poachers Pocket (serving lovely pub food) are both walking distance.

The Lighthouse Inn is drivable and serves gorgeous seasonal seafood (booking advised).

Walcott is a popular seaside destination known for its beachfront and long sandy stretches, perfect for classic coastal days.

Not far from the property is Happisburgh Lighthouse, the oldest working light in East Anglia and the only independently operated lighthouse in Great Britain.

Head to Sheringham for its heritage railway and traditional seafront charm, venture into the Norfolk Broads for scenic waterways and wildlife-rich boat trips, or enjoy Cromer with its zoo, pier, and lively crazy golf, each offering memorable activities for families seeking variety.

WALCOTT

North Walsham 6 miles; Cromer 14 miles; Norwich 18 miles.

Walcott is a lovely coastal village that sits right in the middle of the Norfolk coastline, with many small and friendly coastal villages nearby; Bacton where the ruins of Bromholm Priory and Bacton Woods can be found, Happisburgh with its impressive lighthouse, and Mundesley with its fine sandy beaches are to name but a few. The name Walcott is derived from the Celtic word Walecote, which means "village by the wood". It is an ideal place for walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing, bird watching or simply relaxing and enjoying the many views. Walcott is also a great location for exploring the beautiful scenery of the Norfolk coast, as well as the famous Norfolk Broads. Further inland there are plenty of famous National Trust properties to visit, such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham Halls, or why not visit the historic city of Norwich, with its beautiful Norman Cathedral and Castle, and of course spend your money in the many shops, pubs and restaurants on offer.
