Trunch is a quiet village ideally located for visiting the north Norfolk coastline and Norfolk Broads. Just 2 miles from Trunch is the pretty cliff-top North Norfolk coastal town of Mundesley, which has one of the finest beaches in the area and a golf-course and driving-range, set in a designated area of Natural Outstanding Beauty. Continue along the coastline and you will arrive at the popular seaside town of Cromer, famous for its crabs, local seafood restaurants, sandy Blue Flag beaches and Edwardian style promenades. You are also within easy reach of Sheringham, which has won numerous awards including Britain in Bloom and Best Coastal Resort. Visit NT's Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park or travel inland to the market towns of North Walsham and Aylsham, and the nearby Bure Valley Railway. At Wroxham you can hire a cruiser for the day or at Horning take the Mississippi River Boat along this part of the picturesque broads.
