• "Hi at some point the accommodation would have been suitable for the hotel guest, the kitchen is a working kitchen and not ideal for a holiday home, however it was great to use and fully equipped."

  The property could do with some investment in the lounge the covers for the furniture kept falling off . The dinning table was not big enough for the amount of people in the property however we did decide to eat out. The house is a fab house with some lovely points that must be appreciated. The outside has a seating area to the front that is usable however again it was purpose built for the hotel guests and not families who would like to sit outside and have a glass of wine. weather permitting. The annex is cute however you are away from the house so families with children are not always together. We did use it for one night. The annex also has a mouldy smell. In the bedroom downstairs this needs a damp proof on the cable end above the bed. The loft space has been carefully adapted into a games room, ideal for the children. Like i say a lovely stay, property a bit dated and in need of some updates. We had a problem with the light in the bathroom however a phone call and the electrician was with us.

  Hi Suzanne. Many thanks for your feedback and we always listen closely to what our guests think we could do to improve their stay at Angora. So we have fully renovated the pantry area in the kitchen to provide far more cupboard storage space and we have put a very large new fridge freezer in there as requested by a few guests last year. We have put a second fold out table in the lounge and replaced the covers on the settees. The room 8 annex has been fully renovated including a brand new bed and furniture, a brand new bathroom suite, new carpet and its also been decorated, plus an access door into the kitchen so that the annex is joined on to the house internally. Thank you for your feedback with which have taken on board and acted accordingly to improve our guests experiences while on holiday at Angorfa. Property Owner

• "We have just returned from the most wonderful week staying in Abersoch in a rented house called Angorfa This is the second time we have stayed at this property and have booked again for next year."

  I can honestly say it exceeds all our expectations and from the moment we arrived we were greeted by stunning views, fresh sea air and a lovely, maintained property that is in a perfect position. The house itself was exceptionally clean, simply but stylish decorated and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay for a large family or group. We took our dog with us and there were even delights left for him. Hugo our dog loves it as only minutes from the beach. It really was very special and for those who don’t know Abersoch it’s a charming village with a laidback vibe, lovely shops and so many places to eat .Beaches are lovely to explore as well as walking the coastal path visiting a gallery and soaking up the great atmosphere. Although we spent hours on the sandy beach, we also visited the Glyn y Weddiw gallery in nearby Llanbedrog which is amazing and has a lovely café. My nephew and brother loved the nearby golf club which leads to the beach and is a scenic 18-hole golf course The location of the house is ideal close enough for everything and the short walk to the village is attractive for all ages. The age range was 82 -21 so very mixed but all enjoyed the week tremendously. As I have said we have booked again for next September the whole extended family ….and hopefully for many other years!!!

• "Angorfa is a lovely house, well equipped, very clean & comfortable."

  It catered well for a three generational family of ten. It is situated on the main street in Abersoch, so handy for bars, restaurants & the beach is only a few minutes walk away. However being on the corner of a busy road it was noisy with traffic and revellers at night, probably intensified over the August bank Holiday weekend. The washing machine situated outside in a shed round the side of the house was a nuisance too but overall I would recommend Angorfa as a great place to stay.

We understand your comments about the washing machine but felt it was better outside in a drying cupboard than taking up more space in the kitchen and pantry area. Your quiet right the location is perfect you can park your cars and forget about them for the week as you can walk everywhere, but the compromise is that on the busiest bank holiday weekend of the year in August Abersoch will be extremely busy. We hope to see you again at Angorfa very soon as its great to have guests who enjoy the house as much as we do. Property Owner

• "Third time staying at angorfa with the whole family and it never disappoints."

  Location is everything with the beach and village a very short walk away. Facilities are perfect for a large family like us, lots of space to entertain with spacious bedrooms to escape too at bedtime especially for the younger children. The owners are great at responding and can’t do enough for you. We look forward to staying again next year! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Firstly you love it and its location nearly as much as us, and you always seem to really enjoy your family holidays together in Abersoch. We dont even mind that you always get better weather than we do, LOL. • "We loved our stay at Angorfa!"

  8 adults, 2 children and a pup. So much space, really nice and clean. Airy and light. We had everything we needed and enjoyed using the kitchen! Beautiful views of the sea and so close to the shops/pubs/cafes. Would love to go back and absolutely recommend!

We love the central location meaning you never have to use your car when staying at Angorfa, but my wife has tried so hard to make the place so child / young persons and dog friendly so everyone in the family including your pup can have a fantastic time. • "The property was in a great position for the area of Abersoch and right next to a bus stop which took us to Llanbedrog for a day out."

  The kitchen and lounge were well equipped and cosy - we loved the H/K speaker nd Sarah’s paintings were lovely in the light, bright rooms. Bathrooms and bedrooms in the actual house were really clean, very comfortable and gave 6 of us space, although two of us shared a room as we found the annexe bedroom to be unsuitable. We were able to speak to Andrew about this and the lack of soap and toilet rolls which should have been provided.

• "The house is very well furnished and equipped."

  Clearly it has been recently decorated. We were a large family party with ages from 1 to 62 and the house met all of our needs. It is well positioned with easy walking access to the town and the beach. We would consider returning.

My wife has tried very hard to make sure everybody is comfortable and that their is something to keep all the family entertained be it Sky TV and sports, a PS4 with games or a games cupboard and book case. We are delighted you enjoyed the perfect location of the property and we are glad the facilities met with your approval and we hope you return in the future as the house keeper was very impressed with how clean and tidy you left the house. • "I only read the review that mentioned the lack of a washing machine after I booked and agree that a house this size should have one."

  The response was it states clearly there isn’t a machine. No- it’s not clear and easily missed. It should be stated - there is NOT a washing machine instead of just leaving it out of the list. Otherwise a very comfortable stay which was a family reunion, coming from all over the globe so washing machine sorely missed. And NO we don’t want to go to a launderette on holiday.

  Hi, thank you for your positive feedback on your stay at our property. We are so delighted that you enjoyed your family stay at Angorfa with its amazing location. We are sorry that you felt that the only negative thing to an otherwise perfect stay was the lack of a washing machine. I am sorry you failed to notice in the house description and in the customer comments section that the house does NOT have a washing machine but as you can appreciate it would not be practical to list everything a property has or does not have. The reason the property does NOT have a washing machine is that when we updated the house this year we could not find a suitable location for one that had both a water supply and a drain close to hand. However we do thank you for your constructive comments that will allow us to rectify the situation for the benefit of all our future guests. We fully take onboard all of your positive feedback and comments about the house and we will install a washing machine at Angorfa in January next year when we close for a week for general maintenance. Hopefully this resolve the one negative point you kindly brought to our attention before you return to Angorfa next year for another perfect holiday. Property Owner

• "We had failed to notice that there is no washing machine at Angorfa, which seems a major omission regarding facilities and was a real negative, as we had small children in our group."

  Aside from this, the property is ideal for a large family holiday. The house was clean, although we did find a pair of glasses behind one of the sofas in the lounge and a set of keys in the drier, which we drew to the attention of the letting agents. The property was within easy walking distance of Abersoch beach and right on the High St, so ideal for shops and finding somewhere to eat.

  Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback following your stay at Angorfa with it’s perfect location very close to the village, the beach and all the facilities in Abersoch, we are glad you liked the house and enjoyed your stay. As you mentioned in your review it does state clearly in the property details that Angorfa does not have a washing machine but it does have the facility to hand wash essential items and has a fully functioning drying room with, spin dryer, tumble dryer and drying cupboard and in an emergency their is always the laundrette in the village just a couple of hundred yards away from Angorfa. Thank you for handing in the two lost items they found at the property to your office and also for writing such a glowing review of the cleanliness of the house and its amazing location, We hope to be able to welcome you back to Angorfa soon!
