  • "Stayed here for a weekend with family as a little getaway."

    The place was absolutely fantastic. Loads of room to fit 9 people. Beds were comfy, bedrooms spacious, especially the en-suite downstairs. Has everything you need, sky channels and Netflix. We didn’t get to meet Val, the owner but her sister gave us the tour and sent us a video of a walkthrough which was insightful. While I didn’t meet Val, she was on hand for anything and biting seems to much for her, even though she was holidaying herself. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a little break or even a week away. I usually come down for a week every year and stay in a house near Beaumaris. If Ty Copr allowed pets this is where we would change to come. Thank you so much

    Hi Paul, thank you for the review. It was very appreciated. I love all pets but with limited amount of time sometimes to clean the house with so many beds, I would find it difficult to clean up and some people are allergic to animals so therefore I decided not to take pets ,some people are very considerate and washes the dogs paws before coming into the house as yourself but talking to other people who do Airbnb you have the odd few who wouldn't and I do believe what goes for one goes for the other , I do hope you stay again would love to see all of the family, thank you very much Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely family week with family."

    Very spacious accomodation, all we needed for 5 adults and 2 children. Val the hostess did all she could to make us comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. As the weather was so hot, the lack of garden wasn't a problem. The local park was only a stroll away. Val also left us lots of treats, much appreciated. Good location loads of parking, we had 1 largish car and 2 smaller cars. Thanks Val top notch. X Jennie

  • "What a superb house this is!"

    ! Absolutely perfect accommodation for our large family group. I've never stayed anywhere with so much provided, everything we could have asked for and more. The welcome basket was much appreciated, as was the very warm welcome from Val who showed us round and couldn't have been more helpful. We left an item and as she let us know so quickly we were able to collect before leaving the area for our journey home. The beds were very comfy and living area absolutely spotless. And what a perfect location! Being able to charge the car was an added bonus on what was a fabulous family holiday. Would have no hesitation recommending and we would all love to return for another break.

  • "We had a lovely week at Ty Copr and found the house to be spacious and comfortable for 9 adults, and in a good, quiet location."

    The Co-op just around the corner was very handy. Val was very helpful with information and very kind in providing a delicious and generous tray of "goodies" on arrival. We did feel the house could benefit from having some large pans - needed when cooking for a large group - and also additional mugs, plates, etc in order to reduce dishwasher use. An extra door key would also be useful. We would certainly recommend Ty Copr to anyone visiting Amlwch.

    Hi Yvonne glad you enjoy your stay I will definitely look into what you've said. additional mugs plates at the moment we provide 10 x three large mugs for coffee machine in order, so we know how much to replace and provide free dishwasher tablets one daily otherwise you can request for more as we any live next door, the same with pots and pans we have spare keys but we do ask people to use the key lock outside if you lose kays you can get another and I will definitely put some much large pans thank you though we're always keen on the improving Property Owner

  • "The photos online don't do this lovely property justice."

    It is beautifully finished, and immaculate. Val and her husband are on hand and were so helpful without being at all intrusive. I would love to come back to Ty Copr in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury in the Amlwch area.

    Val was a wonderful host. The house was like a home from home; everything we needed was there and more. Stayed in many houses on the island, but this was by far the best.

  • "I stayed in this fantastic property with 3 friends."

    We wanted somewhere to relax, with plenty of room, somewhere close to all the beautiful beaches and coastal walks on Anglesey. The house exceeded our expectations... spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. Our host met us with a warm greeting and was available if we had any questions. She left goodies on a welcome tray and provided so many extras. We couldn't have asked for more. I'll certainly return and can highly recommend to families and friends looking for a little luxury.

  • "A great house for a family gathering; comfortable and sufficiently spacious."

    It’s decorated and fitted to a high standard, with all necessary appliances and a selection of household consumables. The large screen TV is modern with the expected apps. The outside space was not large, but well built and good for bbq’s and outside eating. The owner made sure our stay was superb, and was very helpful with local information and tips. There are great beaches and other locations within short drives, and the village itself has shops, restaurants, pubs and a good children’s playground. I would recommend Ty Copr.

The property

Ty Copr is a fabulous house in the town of Amlwch, situated on the Isle of Anglesey.

This property is ideal for a group of friends looking for an idyllic getaway as it boasts a glorious open-plan living area, a barbecue in the enclosed rear garden and is close to the beach as well as several amenities.

Walk up the few steps to enter your new holiday abode and kick your shoes off in the hallway.

Step through into the inviting open-plan living, which has a corner sofa on offer to sink into alongside another sofa.

Sit back and indulge yourself in your new splendid surroundings.

Turn on the Smart TV that is looking down at you from the wall.

If you feel like a bite to eat, make the most out of the fully-fitted kitchen with an electric oven and hob on hand to assist with any cooking.

Sit around the dining table to tuck into the food, unless the sun is shining, then go outside to take charge of the barbecue.

Cook up some traditional delights and wash them down with a drink, not forgetting to use the ice maker the fridge has available.

When the night time sky comes into shot, head back inside to get warm using the electric fire.

If you feel yourself nodding off, head to dreamland using the ground-floor double room or head upstairs where you will find a king-size bed, a double, a twin or a single to help you drift off.

Once well-rested, start a new day with a rejuvenating shower either in one of the two en-suites or the family shower room.

A shop and a pub are on your doorstep for any essentials or a meal out.

For a day out, venture to the Traeth Porth Wen Beach to explore the hidden gem, go for a serene stroll along the Anglesey Coastal Path or see who will be crowned champion at Bull Bay Golf Club.

Head to Beaumaris, which is home to the Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to see several pretty sights, including Beaumaris Castle.

Go on a scenic Seacoast Safaris to look out for some puffins or amble along the picturesque Beaumaris Pier.

Slightly further afield in get up close and personal with wonderful creatures at the Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park, or enjoy a plethora of great displays at the Anglesey Transport Museum.

With an affluent mining history, the village now plays host to independent cafes and local shops, making it a tranquil location for a family holiday. Discover the history of Amlwch and its copper mining tradition on the Heritage Copper Trail, part of the beautiful 125-mile coastal path that winds its way along the coast of Anglesey, or visit the Old Mine Works at Mynydd Parys, and see the red, yellow and purple rocks, which some say resemble the surface of the Moon. For lovers of fishing and golf, both are available in Amlwch, with the Bull Bay Golf Club close by, and sea fishing a very popular pastime.
