  • "We had a wonderful stay at Adrienne's cottage - a cozy corner in a beautiful part of the world."

Great location: very quiet, yet easy to access many scenic walks and nearby towns. Highly recommend! P.S. Bring carrots - the horses in the field behind the cottage will greatly appreciate them!

  • "Our stay at Adrienne's cottage was fantastic."

It was spotless with quality fixtures, fittings and linens and had everything we needed and more. The view from the back is just beautiful and the visit everyday from the ponies really added to our enjoyment. We even made a special trip to the shop to stock up on apples to feed them. The location is great and the parking on site made it so easy to explore. We did a walk from the front door up into the hills and the views from the top were breathtaking. We visited Betws y Coed, Porthmadoc, Blaenau Festiniog, Borth y Gest and Portmeirion which ranged from 10 to 30 minutes drive away. There is a pub with good food within walking distance and a Spar shop with very friendly and helpful staff. The train station is minutes away too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning a summer return trip. Thank you Adrienne for being such a great host.

  • "Lovely cottage with stunning view over to Moel Siabod."

We had a super stay - the cottage is really well setup & very comfortable for self catering & exploring the area. We loved the eco friendly touches throughout, putting on log burner in the evenings, & taking in the views over breakfast & dinner. Adrienne is a super host - very clear guidelines, great recommendations & very friendly. We enjoyed trips to mountains for walking (Siabod, Snowdon), slate mines (good for rainy days!), Llandudno (break up the walking data for kids!) - did not want to leave! Thank you so much Adrienne!

  • "We love the peace at this beautifully refurbished cottage."

The ponies came each morning to say hi and it was a real treat to wake up and see how Moel Siabod looked depending on the light that day. We used it as a base to explore Snowdonia and went west to Porthmadoc, north to Snowdon and the Glydyrs and Betws Y Coed, Conwy & Llandudno. The inglenook woodburner is so cosy in the evenings we didn't want to move from it. But managed to make the local pub a couple of times.

  • "Loved this place!"

Got here via train - It's a 5 minute walk from the village station. The solar panels and eco friendly soaps etc helped us feel we were holidaying well. The local pub was very friendly with great food. Trains took us to Betws Y Coed, Llandudno, Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog. The cottage is done to a high standard and is peaceful, cosy and relaxing. View at the back is amazing and we were lucky enough to the see the 'wild' horses/ponies at the end of the garden! We will be back!
