    A great base for exploring. Was lucky enough to see the most beautiful sunrises from the beach a couple of minutes drive away too, we will be back!

  • "I wish we had booked for longer than 2 nights for the 3 of us and my dog."

    A very warm welcome on arrival, to the open gate ,to drive straight into the grounds , to the beautiful property. On entrance there was a selection of goodies,a huge Easter bunny , with a bottle of prosecco, chocates,Welsh cakes and also dog treats and a bowl , laid out.Lovely touch and a huge thank you . Plenty of space and very comfortable,with everything that you could need. All rooms light and airy with a view of the sea. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

  • "Hi, after a slight hiccup we had a lovely time at this cottage, it was clean and warm with the underfloor heating."

    The owners left some goodies which was much appreciated. It was so quiet and we sat in the morning outside having a coffee taking in the lovely scenery. We were lucky to have some warm days in March which was great. There were lots of nice places to eat close by. We hope to return in the future .

  • "A lovely property with the most amazing views towards the sea."

    Comfortable and warm and a very quiet location made it perfect for us. Short walk to the brilliant Breeze Hill for lovely evening meals. Pebbles Bistro also only 10 minutes walk. Close to the town and beach.

  • "Great cottage perfect for our weekend walking the final leg of the coast path."

    Quiet location, comfy beds, well equipped, plenty of local shops, takeaways and pubs. Weather wasn’t great but beach looked nice for sunnier days. Everywhere generally clean, sofa needed an extra hoover - as I guess previous guests had dogs, bit hairy! Welcome gifts, greatly appreciated- would recommend and stay again if in area

  • "We stayed at this cottage recently and were blown away by the location - the views were absolutely stunning, and the surrounding area is truly special."

    Unfortunately, the accommodation itself let the experience down quite significantly. The cottage was not properly cleaned before our arrival. We looked past the stained rug, as obviously this is a dog friendly accommodation. However, It clearly hadn’t had a deep clean in a long time - there was visible dirt under the beds and sofas, and when we lifted the sofa cushions, we found a shocking amount of hair, food debris, and general grime. The worst part was the smaller sofa, which had a strong, unpleasant smell of urine. The beds were also very uncomfortable. One was broken, and another had a mattress so bobbly and worn out that it was hard to sleep on. Overall, it felt like cleanliness and maintenance hadn’t been a priority for some time. It’s a real shame, because the setting is absolutely gorgeous. With a proper deep clean and some attention to basic comfort, this cottage could be a real gem. As it stands, we left disappointed.

    Thank you for your review, it was very useful. since your review we have replaced the rug with a new one and had several deep cleans between guests. It took us some time to identify what you meant by the bed being broken but finally found the cracked slat and have replaced it. We couldn't detect the smell on the sofa but have had that throughly cleaned as well. we really appreciate your feed back and will keep striving to make the cottage as comfortable as possible.   • "Bryn uchaf is a wonderful stay!"

    Close to amenities. Beach, shop and pub close by. We really enjoyed the Lovely view to watch the sun rise over the sea ! Great enclosed garden for our two dogs. Plenty of space for car parking ! The property is beautiful clean and spacious has everything you need for a relaxing stay thank you so much

  • "Lovely cottage."

    Very well located in Benllech in walking distance of shops & 20 minutes walk to beach. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Garden seating at from of house has lovely view of sea in distance. Garden secure and great for our 2 Labradors. Nice welcome pack on arrival and a lovely touch. All in all, a fab cottage.

  • "Great cottage, it was little hard to find first time but love that it’s hidden away and very quiet."

    Amazing views of the sea while having my morning coffee. Everything was lovely. We had an issue with the electric tripping on 3 sockets downstairs because of a faulty toaster, called number in info pack and engineer was there in 20 mins electric back on and replacement toaster 10 mins later! I was amazed at the speed of service. Already planning my trip for next year!

  • "The property was lovely with a perfect sea view and close enough to walk to the shops and pubs ."

    We visited as a family and we were lucky to have a nice week of weather . Having 2 children , the other bedrooms would benefit having televisions as well . One issue I found on the cleanliness, was the skirting boards they were very dusty and built up with dust ,especially around the bedside tables and underneath the main bedroom hadn't been cleaned properly with dust and dirt . The kitchen had all the things you needed and the welcome package was a lovely surprise. The front of the house has a table and chair to sit at and was a little sun trap , the property didn't have a back garden but woodland area and the out building had a washer and dryer which was perfect.

    Thanks for the feedback it is really appreciated. We took the opportunity of a short break in bookings to get in a do a big deep clean. Also a great idea for additional TVs in the other bedrooms. Thanks again. Property Owner

  • "Lovely home and a great setting with sea views from every window."

    We made use of the utility room as we got wet and we where able to dry our coats for the following day. the main town is a short walk away or a 2 minute drive with lots of choices for food and drink, coffee shop and 3 local supermarket shops .we stayed for the new year 2025 . Nice beach and plenty of little cafes.

The property

Bryn Uchaf is a pretty, renovated cottage situated on a quiet lane, backing onto ancient woodland with fabulous sea and mountain views reaching out over Red Wharf Bay.

This beautiful retreat is only a short walk from Benllech town centre, the stunning Benllech beach, and the Anglesey coastal path can also be accessed from here for stunning walks.

Stepping inside you'll find the well-equipped kitchen which is designed in a heart-warming fashion with contemporary units and black countertops.

The living/dining area has a beautiful open fire and comfortable sofas, which set you up for a toasty night in.

This leads to a dining area, which seats up to six people, a chance for everyone to come together and relax in comfort.

Outstanding views can be seen from most rooms in the property, and tasteful slate floors with underfloor heating give the property a truly bespoke edge.

Three bedrooms are accessed via an oak stairway and landing; two doubles are neutrally styled with a country-cottage feel, and views towards the magnificent seafront, which you can wake up to every day.

There is also a comfortable bunk room in cool blue and white tones looking out over woodland.

Finally, the large family bathroom includes both a freestanding bath and a walk-in shower, to match your preferences.
