"The owners were friendly and helpful without intruding."
It was refreshing that there were no lengthy 'instructions' on how to leave the property - as we have have encountered in the past. We followed the guidance provided by Sykes and did what we thought was right in terms of bedding etc.; we hope we were correct. The hot tub was good too! Thank you for providing our accommodation for the week.

"A beautifully presented property in a tranquil setting."
A perfect location to explore Anglesey, or a short hop over the Menai Strait to Snowdonia.

"Well l can honestly say it was one of the best holiday places we’ve ever been to , there was nothing at all that we couldn’t say was wrong with it , from the time we drove up to the property to the time we left it was more than we could have hoped for , we will definitely try and make a return visit ."

"We were happy with the cottage when we arrived."
On our 2nd night the power went out totally. I appreciate this was unavoidable but we sat for an hour with no update from the owners who are in the same location. My husband had to go to them to find them with candles everywhere. They did not offer any support or candles or back up and simply told us to get an early night at 9pm. Totally unacceptable customer service. We left that night and frankly would expect some refund or recompense for this. I have used Sykes cottage’s before and had a good experience. Unfortunately based on this experience I would not use this one again ! We told them we had left and also had no contact so clearly not bothered about the inconvenience caused or trying to correct their poor response to paying customers in their cottage.

"Beautiful cottage, everything was exactly as described online and more!"
It was clean and very comfortable. The owners provide so much in the cottage, we had everything needed to make a lovely little Sunday Roast & had some little extras for our Anniversary.
Although the cottage is near to the owners house, we had plenty of privacy for a fantastic long weekend away. The hot tub is amazing and was great to use after long days of exploring all the local areas and castles!
Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Anglesey. Will 100% be returning at some point :) 5* stay!

"Lovely cottage with everything you need."
Nice comfy bed and great walk in shower.Kitchen very well appointed with top notch appliances. The hot tub was really enjoyable after being out for the day.Would definitely recommend. The only quibble we had was that there was nowhere to dry towels or cloths. It would have been useful to have had a washing line or an airer that didn't fall over so easily.Apart from that couldn't fault this cottage.

"What a lovely peaceful location."
We stayed for 4 nights and the only grumble we have is the weather - it was good old Welsh rain much of the time. We spent more time than planned in the cottage and were very glad of its facilities and comfort. The owners were welcoming and extremely helpful.

"We found the property pretty much as described, private and comfortable."
The standard of the furniture, white goods and kitchen utensils/china was excellent and the property, including the hot tub, was clean. One thing that would have been helpful, though, would have been some shelving in the shower room to better hold toiletries rather than the floor mounted boxes.
There was no information provided in the property on local amenities. The gentleman who owned the property did come to the cottage on the afternoon we arrived and spent some time telling us about local restaurants and drives around the island, but information provided in this way can be more difficult to take on board. What would have been more useful would to have been to provide a pack of information, which we’ve always found useful when we’ve stayed in other Sykes properties. About four days into our stay, we came across user manuals for the microwave, dishwasher, tv etc. in one of the kitchen drawers (although the info tor the microwave was for a different model).
In summary, the property very much ‘did what it said on the tin’ but there was lot of information provided on what we could not to do, but nothing on what we could do. This did not, though, prevent us spending a wonderful week in a beautiful part of the country.

"Lovely property."
Clean, quiet, comfortable with the hot tub being a bonus after walking parts of the coastline around Anglesey. The property is just past the owners house but they left us alone during the week. Ian met us on arrival and gave helpful information to make the most of our stay. Definitely recommend this property.

"Clean, comfortable, spacious and very well appointed cottage with the added benefit of a hot tub and good parking."
Ian and Hilary were very welcoming and close at hand if needed but otherwise their nearby presence was very discreet.
Excellent location to use as a base for exploring Anglesey by car or walking to Red Wharf Bay cross country starting on a footpath that you pick up right behind the property - just walk to the bottom of the garden, turn right and straight after the large gate there is a style (somewhat overgrown!) on the left. You can then follow various footpaths and quiet country lanes to Red Wharf Bay using such as footpathmap.co.uk.
My wife and I were there in peak summer holiday season so some of the car parks in the surrounding towns and villages were a bit too busy, but there is a very large seafront car park at Cemaes Bay, which is certainly worth a visit.
Also there is copious parking at Amlwch where you can easily pick up the coastal path. We enjoyed a walk along that to Bull Bay, stopping off en route at the Trecastell Hotel for an excellent Sunday carvery, which is highly recommended.
All in all we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and are very happy to recommend Glasinfryn Cottage for couples looking to spend a relaxing time on Anglesey.

"Beautiful cottage and would definitely stay again."
Set in a quiet village away from the world and was just the escape we needed from our busy working lives.
High on our list of priorities when choosing a self catering let is cleanliness and location and this let did not disappoint! It was immaculate and everything clean and tidy. Lots of nice walks nearby and on Anglesey you are never more than a short ride from the beach.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hot tub with a glass (plastic of course) of wine listening to the birds in the garden.
We popped out for an afternoon to Beaumaris and enjoyed exploring some of the nearby beaches.
On our way back to the Cottage we stopped off at Benllech for seafood and purchased dressed crab at the Crab Shop. Highly recommended too.
We would definitely stay again and thank you for having us.
