  • "The location of this property couldn't be beaten."

    Wonderful walks to several different coves and beaches. The location in general is a short drive from several main visiting spots. The house itself was well maintained. It had additional items such as wind breaks, parasol and board games which are always a win with a young family. The rooms are all brilliant sizes. The only tiny negative for us would be having to provide our own towels. Having to pack beach towels, bath towels and then hand towels, we didn't take into account the number of sinks so didn't have enough with us! Access was very easy with the key safe. There are steep steps to the property but it's fully warned about on booking and our young family had no problems.

  • "Loved stopping here."

    This is the third time I have stopped at the property. The views are just amazing. The only downside was the pillows could do with being changed on the beds but honestly its so minor. It was a perfect house for us. Loved sitting outside in the mornings with a cup of tea watching the estuary and listening to the birds. End the dog enjoyed sitting out front watching the world go by.

  • "Amazing find, this big White House on the Welsh coast."

    Spacious, clean and really comfortable, but the best thing is those views, they are memorising morning noon n night. Perfectly located for everyone, beach, walks , adventure at the Forest coaster, or just relaxing. Beautiful part of the country. We will be back. Perfect family holiday.

  • "My family and I enjoyed a 5-night stay at the amazing Bryn Eithin."

    The accommodation was full of character and in tip top, clean condition with everything you could ever need. With great views and easy access to the beach the house is positioned perfectly for those families that enjoy a good walk, or if you are like us day trips to the near by Zip World and Snowdonia mountain range for some full on hiking. The only down side to the property is the steep access steps, but the owners are very upfront about this and to the average (fit & mobile) family this shouldn't put you off. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay (regardless of weather) and we will certainly be revisiting.

  • "The place was as listed if not better."

    Perfect for the 5 of us and 2 dogs. Brilliant utility room, very helpful to dry our coats from the rainy week we had and our swimmers. Loved the wet room very useful for sandy kids. Hope to come again. Loved being able to do so many different walks straight from the house. Views to die for.

  • "We spent 5 nights as a family of four at Bryn Eithin and I can honestly say, it was one of the best stays we have had in a long while."

    The place was spotless with views to die for and we all had the most restful nights sleeps ever! The beaches nearby were just sensational with easy access to some secluded ones and of course, to the amazing Black Rock Sands beach which was one of the highlights of our stay. We really hope we can visit again sometime (if availability permits). This was one amazing place!

  • "Comfortable, well equipped house."

    Amazing views & plenty of walks close by. Good location for visiting other areas. Would be good to have Netflix or Prime on the TV as the network programmes were poor.

  • "Lovely house in fabulous location."

    Problem with the dishwasher but the agent were very helpful and responded to us on Christmas Day!

  • "We stayed at this fantastic house in October 2024."

    The location is incredible with wonderful sea views and the beach close by. As we have a couple of dogs this was brilliant and we would recommend it for any owners of four legged friends The house itself is in good condition and was clean on arrival. There were a couple of minor issues with the upkeep of the house itself but nothing to impact the overall enjoyment. There is plenty of space for up to 7 people and separate bathrooms and toilets is a major bonus. Overall we would recommend this property to any family looking to explore North Wales and Snowdonia.

Situated in an elevated position in its own terraced grounds it enjoys amazing sea and mountain views and the pleasant woodland walk down to the sandy beaches is a delight.

Comfortably furnished in a style contemporary to the house with antique and period furniture and located within 5 minutes walk to a restaurant and tea room.

Excellent walks from the doorstep along the coastal footpath to Black Rock sands (15 mins) or to Porthmadog along the wharf (15 mins).

A favourite is the walk up the local mountain, Moel y Gest, door to door all on footpaths and through wood lands.

Bryn Eithin is a perfect retreat for families and friends seeking a memorable seaside stay.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. Also within reach is the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below where you can get involved with a variety of activities including the thrilling zip wires and underground caverns to explore; there is something here to suit the whole family. An ideal location for the attractions of Snowdonia and the The Llyn Peninsula.
