The property

Welcome to Elv Cottage, a charming Victorian house situated five minutes from the banks of the River Dee, and 15 minutes walk from the centre of the vibrant and artistic city of Chester.

Offering luxurious interiors and stylish decor this four star holiday home features everything you need for a romantic get away.

Highlights include a king - sized double bedroom with original cast iron bed and fireplace, a cosy and comfortable lounge with open fire and an elegant period bathroom with roll top bath and shower for two!

The contemporary kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances and has plenty of storage and preparation space if eating in.

The light and cheery outlook from the cottage transitions into a secluded terrace area for private dining and refreshments, providing a truly atmospheric feel to your stay.

Elv cottage is ideally situated with the River Dee a short stroll away and from here you can take the tiny ferry boat to the Meadows in the Summer months or just sit and indulge in the events surrounding the water.

Fancy a pint?....There is a traditional pub (5 mins walk) "The Mount" with an outstanding beer garden positioned on the riverbank and if it's gourmet food in a breathtaking location you're after, try "Et Alia" at the Red House.

A stunning gem for food and alfresco wining and dining.

Chester has been named "The jewel of the North - West" and quite rightly so, with some of the most fascinating historical aspects, the city boasts old walls, a Roman amphitheatre, medieval churches and Elizabethan timber - framed townhouses.

Explore the magnificent Chester cathedral, spend a day at the zoo and if you time it right, the spectacular Chester Racecourse might be hosting an event, so grab your best finery and head on down to place your bets, it's only a 20 minute walk away.

A stone's throw away is the stunning Welsh coastline and mountains and Liverpool and Manchester are easily accessed via train or road.

See for yourself, Elv Cottage really does ooze character and charm and will provide a relaxing and memorable experience to any mini break.
