“There was definitely not 7 hours worth of cleaning cob webs everywhere some with dead spiders in .”

..dishwasher had peas left in the bottom open fire hadn't been cleaned out found christmas card under the cushion on a chair ...partner got flea bites from the settee ....couldn't sweep up or hoover as no vacume or brush 5pm check in is ridiculous supposedly due to extra cleaning due to covid I would hate to think if it had been a 3pm check in

We were deeply sorry to learn you were dissatisfied with the standard of presentation at the cottage and have taken immediate steps to deal with the concerns raised in the text you sent us after your departure. Had we known of your concerns sooner we would have arranged for them to be dealt with while you were there. Your text made no mention of flea bites and we would like to assure you and our future our guests that there was no evidence of fleas during our own stay prior to your arrival or on independent inspection immediately following this review, and that all soft furnishings are steam cleaned to covid-safety standards by our caretakers between each occupancy. - Sykes owner relations

The property

This traditional, stone-built, semi-detached cottage is set in an elevated, rural location, just five miles from Harlech and five miles from Porthmadog in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

Offering stunning panoramic views of the countryside down to the Tremadog Bay estuary, this charming Llandecwyn cottage is full of charm and character, with a welcoming woodburning stove and pretty, enclosed gardens.

This cosy Llandecwyn cottage is an absolute delight with a comfy sitting room which enjoys superb views over the gardens down to the estuary, where you can watch the changing tides all day long.

The kitchen is well equipped, with a breakfast table for further dining options, and upstairs are the bathroom and the bedrooms, both benefiting from far-reaching views.

With Harlech and Porthmadog within five miles, this is an ideal touring base, but would equally suit walkers, writers, artists or outdoor enthusiasts due to its tranquil location, and with a small lake only 300 yards away, fishermen also benefit from its enviable position.

A superb Llandecwyn cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday all year round.

Note: This cottage is next door to Ref 930206, together they sleep 6.
