  • "The accommodation was very old and tired."

Blinds were broken, ripped curtains, the outside steps were also broken. The gas oven didn’t work! On the booking, it showed a picture of a garden, but that was the owners garden and not one we were allowed to go in. Carpets were very old and smelt. We had a 4 year old and a 15 month with us and not suitable accommodation for them.

We are very sorry you didnt enjoy our caravan. We appreciate it is an old model, but most guests have found it clean and functional. A modern version would cost you significantly more. Our response is as follows:- 1. We recently had new carpets throughout; we dont expect to replace after every visit!! We attempt to remove stains and odours left as best as we can in the changeover time. 2. Some of the blinds in the main room were broken or bent by unruly guests, and the net curtain in the small room only was slightly ripped. Unfortunately we are unable to replace them in the short time between guests following on. They were all perfect at the start of the season and we have more on order awaiting fitting. 3. The caravan garden is quite clearly photographed in the write-up and depicted by the fence and gates. The other photo is simply to show the surrounding garden area, which you could have used; as it is used by the Studio we let also. 4. Why not ask how to work the cooker? It worked when checked for the present gas safety certificate!! No one else complained?? 5. We have never had complaints about the cleanliness or the smell. In fact all other guests have remarked on the high standards. We try our best to remove stains and odours left and we have had no other complaints. 6. We feel our prices and photos reflect the fact that it is not a modern static. We do not advertise any large play areas. You would of course pay a lot more than you did to stay in a new caravan in this area in the high season. 7. We were disappointed by how you left our place. There was a used nappy under the cot bed and the base was also broken. The white towels were left badly soiled with what looked like excrement!! The rubbish was left in the bin and not recycled as directed and full of dirty nappies. Property Owner

  • "Lovely friendly owners who couldn’t do enough to help or answer any questions."

Caravan is well equipped and comfortable. My only feedback would be maybe to have a broom and dustpan or a vacuum in the caravan as we felt bad leaving sand after beach visits!

Thank you so much for your lovely review!! We do normally leave a vacuum in the caravan but our house one had broken so we had to use it in the house!! However thank you for being thoughtful enough to consider cleaning up..although you did leave it very tidy. Much appreciated, and you're welcome any time should you visit Anglesey again!!
