Settle down to dinner at the dining table for six or dine alfresco out on your rear patio or raised terrace with a backdrop of breath-taking mountain views.

The village of Beddgelert is a short journey away where you can visit the grave of the legendary faithful hound, Gelert, join the Welsh Highland Railway on a steam locomotive, and find walking trails through the Craflwyn and Beddgelert nature reserve.

For your local amenities, head into Llanberis, where you can enjoy a wide variety of watersports on Llyn Peris, explore the World Heritage site of Dinorwig Quarry, delve into history at the National Slate Museum and Dolbadarn Castle.

Those feeling adventurous can tackle the famous Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Peak, whilst if you came for the views but not the hike, there is a train available from Llanberis to take you up to the summit.

Continue onto Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you can explore the underground mines at Zip World Llechwedd, or head to Betws-y-Coed for treetop adventures Zip World Fforest and hikes up to Swallow Falls Waterfall.

Overlooked by the Snowdon, Yr Aran and Moel Hebog mountains and with wonderful wooded valleys, towering rocky slopes, hidden lakes and waterfalls all providing magnificent views, this is a fantastic location for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
