  • "The property was immaculately clean and simply beautiful."

Just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away, it was so cosy and warm too. The outdoor area was the perfect size and very secure for our dog, and the location was great (not even a couple of minutes walk into Conwy) on a lovely quiet road. We can’t wait to come back.

  • "Had a fantastic break with our dog."

Your cottage is absolutely beautiful. Spotless and has absolutely everything you could need. Small but for 2 people it’s perfect nice little dinning area, comfortable lounge, lovely kitchen. We used the rail links to Colwy Bay and LLudidno they were great. Would recommend to every couple and will definitely return.

  • "We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful cottage, all fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings of a high standard."

Spotlessly clean and although allowed dogs you would not have known as no evidence of dog odour or hair anywhere. Just one small gripe, the on road parking is a little hit and miss on whether you’ll nab one before anyone else. We had to park overnight in the pay to park area (just a small walk away) which was not at all a problem but meant we had to move the car before 8am which is a bit early if you fancied a lie in. However, would definitely recommend

Bed was extremely comfortable. The owner left some treats for my dog, a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate. I would definately recommend the property it was quite close to shops etc. A nice private and secure garden.

  • "Was 5 minutes walk from the centre of everything with a view of a castle turret over the wall."

However, it was so peaceful and quiet in a lane. Immaculately clean and well presented with every detail thought of - even flowers on the windowsill and a welcome box of chocolates. It is small but perfectly formed for a perfect getaway to a stunning little town for one or two people. Would go again.

  • "The owner of the cottage met us to show us around and explain how everything worked."

She was very welcoming. We had everything we needed but knew we could contact her at anytime. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. We'd definitely book again.

  • "A beautiful cosy little cottage, modernised to a high standard."

It is a stone's throw to the centre of Conwy (less than a 5 minute walk). We met the owner, Lowri who was very helpful and friendly. The enclosed yard at the rear came in very handy for relaxing in the late summer sun. Also handy for our dog to run free. He enjoyed his holiday too!

The owner could not have been more helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome when we arrived. Perfectly located for exploring the Conwy, Deganwy and Llandudno areas on foot, this cottage is the perfect place to come back to at the end of the day and simply relax in tasteful and comfortable surroundings.

  • "We loved Kirrin Cottage."

In fact, after one week we rebooked to spend a second week. It was recently re-done and so everything is new. Yes, it's small, but it was beautiful, and super clean. Fresh towels and fresh everything. Kitchen was great, internet was terrific, which was important because we were on a working holiday. Lowri provided an amazing welcome pack (with Prosecco!). She also was very generous to provide us with hiking and outing suggestions--we walked out the door and all the way to the top of the Great Orme; another time over Conwy Mountain. Great location. (The street is narrow-- as they all are in Conwy.) Clearly Lowri is interested in making her guests feel welcome. According to the Visitors Book it's been a rental for several years, but she recently bought it from her friend and took over. Wish you the best, Lowri!

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
