Dolphin is a small hamlet with its own pub, located between Holywell and Mold. Standing on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between the northern edge of the Clwydian Hill Range and miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast, Dolphin is also close to St Winifred’s Well, the Milwr Tunnel, Greenfield Valley Heritage Park and some superb golf courses. Nearby are Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin, with excellent shops and craft centres, and Prestatyn, whose Blue Flag beach provides miles of golden sand for bathing, watersports or fishing.
