"Firstly, check in was quick and we were made to feel welcome."
On arrival to the accommodation, it looked spotless and had a really clean smell. All week though, we all had niggling nose issues and knowing it was pet friendly accommodation, maybe we were all reacting to dogs from previous guests. It wasn't until my son walked across the floor from the living area to the bedroom that we saw just how much dog hair there was lingering around on the floor and just a quick sweep by the door filled the dustpan. I don't expect perfection but there was a ridiculous amount of hair in the atmosphere. I have stayed in pet friendly accommodation before and not reacted like that. The sofas in the living area seemed clean and were comfortable but there needs to be a coffee table in there. As for the cooking facilities, there was only a small microwave combi with just 4 of everything so we were washing up every 2 minutes. The beds were comfortable and fairly big and noise levels from other guests at night was non existent so we all slept well. Back home now and all the allergy symptoms have gone and because of this issue we probably won't book again. Lovely site though and is in a wonderful place.

"Feel lodge needs greening up a bit Cob webs inside, marks on walls, damp inside shower area by toilet."
Would be lovely if it had a cooker as I feel the bar food is a bit expensive for what it is. Having a cooker would just give you that choice not to have to eat out every night
-
"Great place to stay and the on site facilities were excellent as stated cooking facilities are not much so took my air fryer and two ring cooker ."
I would of love to stay there again as I was really happy but next years price for the same dates was 60% dearer. Shame

"The lodge was beautiful."
Towels, robes and slippers were provided which was a nice touch . Beautiful views from the lounge and kitchen. We loved our hot tub. The lodge would definitely benefit from coffee table of even better a nest of tables in lounge. There was nowhere to place your drink when chilling on the sofas other than on the floor. Table lamp would be a great addition too for a cosy feel when chilling in the evening. Tv in lounge kept switching itself on and flickering like mad through channels…we had a good laugh about it but this could potentially freak someone out… ;) overall fantastic lodge in beautiful location on amazing resort. Would definitely recommend it and would definitely come back.

"There was a drainage smell in the bathroom that was not pleasant."
The Radiator in the main bedroom needs attention as it clicks all the time and you could do with a table in the living room for drinks overall would stay again
-
"Lovely lodge & facilities."
Got really warm in the lodge and the radiator in the bedroom kept clicking. Other than that would recommend

"1. There was no heating on when we arrived, bearing in mind it’s feb, the place was freezing 2."
It’s smells very damp in the main bathroom 3. The lodge stated basic kitchen, however I would expect 4 glasses as it sleeps 4 people, as a minimum. 4. The kitchen has a microwave/oven facility, yet no way of cooking anything as no metal trays for the oven feature
-
"Amazing property and amazing resort."
will definitely be back xxx

"Me and my boyfriend stayed for our 1 year anniversary."
Lodge was lovely, feels homely, comfortable and a lovely get away. All the facilities and staff was amazing! Only downfall is no cooker. Car parks are close to lodges, as you can park in any car park. Hot tub was very good, cleaned and maintained everyday.

"When there isn’t an oven it should be explicitly listed as such."
No parking anywhere near the lodges, most other holiday sites have spaces next to the lodges, these are a walk up a hill and stairs away, so, again, should be explicitly stated. Not much cutlery, no WiFi, TV was placed way too high - better to stand and watch then sit down. The lodges were otherwise well kept and was great that you get to use the spa and swimming pool, however the showers were too hot to use and there were no individual changing rooms.
-
"Cabin and resort was excellent."
Facilities were great. Only criticism was heating in bar and reastraunt was cold . Also pet friendly resort did not allow dog into the restraunt.
-
"The site and property are in a great location for seeing the area."
The property itself was spacious and comfortable, my only negatives was the drainage smell in the main bathroom and the fact there is no oven and hob in the kitchen just a grill/microwave. Not everyone wants to eat out all the time especially if you are there with a family. The hot tub was clean and checked everyday. I would stay again but only for a weekend, would recommend to friends etc.
-
"Not sure if it was the weather but the drains in the showers had a sulphur smell, it wasn't in the other lodge stayed at in June."
There was no toaster which was rectified the next morning. The hot tub was good, everything clean, quite a few holes in the wall which seemed strange. Beds comfy
-
"Really dissapointed with kitchen appliances if there would be a cooker there it would of been ideal."
-
"Bit of a walk from the carpark."
Not the best facility for the dog, considering it was pet friendly. Hot tub could be undercover so it could be used what ever the weather. A really basic kitchen with minimal utensils. No instructions about how to use heating and tv. Place itself was very clean and decorated to a high standard and all the staff very friendly. Would go again but wouldn't rush back.
-
"Overall the lodge is beautifully designed and decorated to a high standard however could do with a few more facilities ie tea towel, sharp knife coffee table and few more dishes and a information leaflet all very minor items."
The Hot tub is amazing, The resort is beautiful very clean well maintained and the pool, spa is amazing bar and restaurant are excellent . The staff are friendly and helpful . Would not hesitate to recommend
