The rural village of Nesscliffe stands in lovely Shropshire countryside and is well known for the popular Nesscliife Hill Country Park, whose caves were once home to the famous highwayman Humphrey Kynaston. The village also boasts the 15th century Three Pigeons Inn, an excellent and friendly watering hole. Nesscliffe is only a short drive from the beautiful Shropshire hills of the Long Mynd, Stiperstones and Caradoc, which can be explored on foot, by bike, on horse or by car. Nine miles away is the medieval town of Shrewsbury, set into a loop of the River Severn, and offering timber-framed black and white buildings, a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, a theatre, riverside walks, an abbey and a castle.
