    Very clean and comfortable. Nice touches like a carton of milk and Welsh Cakes. Only minor issue was an overly sensitive smoke alarm that went off if I cooked anything (short press the red button in the hallway unit to silence).

    Lovely apartment with spectacular views. The apartment has everything you would need. Porthmadog itself is great, shops, pubs and great dog walks. Most shops and pubs are dog friendly. Ideal base for exploring surrounding areas. Definitely will be going back. Photos on sykes site don't give it justice.

    . Just like we have :)! This has been a great space! My significant other Neil has relived his youth and shared his very happy memories of childhood adventures in all the many beautiful surrounding area's that I don't want to offend by spelling incorrectly. However as an adult doing adult things he is now loading the car like the adult he very much clearly took for granted as an eight year old boy crabbing in rock pools and being called in for tea!!! It's highly unlikely that the previous couple will be back again so if I were you Carol I would ignore the comment about the bedroom curtains - They made every morning full of sunshine for us. Thank you for letting us share this corner of paradise. I hope with all my heart to be back soon.

    The unit we stayed in looked as if it had a make over in the last few years but there were signs of blistering paint in the bedroom against one wall. We wanted a nice view and some walks and pub meals. All these were there, true to the listing.

    WHAT WE LIKED! Portmeirion. The wHR to Caernarfon and back. Fish and chips from The Creel. The Tafarn Pencei pub, over there! Good grub and a great atmosphere, dog and child friendly, "it's so laid back man". The Ice-cream at "Cadwalladers" in Criccieth. The beach at "Llandanwg", The Church Llandanwg. The Barabrith at the cafe at Llandanwg. How the flat is so lovely and clean, (we wondered if the cleaner was some sort of robot). The Jacket spuds at "Davy Jones Locker" in Barmouth

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting.
