  • "This is our second time staying at Drosgl and loved every minute of it."

Clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Lovely views and an excellent location for exploring Wales. Fun addition were the sheep outside! A lovely accommodation all round. Would recommend to family and friends (and stay again)

  • "Great property, great location."

A warm "cosy" feel to the place.

  • "Fantastic property, very well equipped with lots of extras provided, heated clothes drier was a bonus."

Was thankful of the nightlight torches as had a powercut whilst trying to pack to leave. Not sure who to contact as Sykes were closed so asked a neighbour who had already reported it. Can owners add into holiday file that thinner quilts are in bottom drawers as only found them at end of stay and it was very warm at night. I loved the landing area and used this as a dressing table as none in the room. Very central location to visit places on the island and mainland. Hope to stay here again as was lovely and homely.

We are delighted that you liked the property and intend to come back again. I agree that it would have been a good idea to draw your attention to the thinner quilts and I will add a section to the holiday file about bedclothes. Property Owner

  • "Lovely property, clean, comfortable and very well equipped - owners seemed to have thought of absolutely everything which was a very pleasant surprise."

Supermarkets within a couple of miles, though there is a local weekly market and farm shop close enough, for supporting the local businesses too. Well located in the middle of the island. This was spacious enough for our group of 5 which included 2 preschoolers and a fussy pensioner who was very pleased with it too! My only complaint and a personal preference is that the pillows were far too high and too firm for us, especially for the children, so none of us used them- beds were comfortable though and we all slept well every night. Will book again in the future.

We're pleased that you enjoyed staying at the property. We love it too, and like to have everything we need when we stay. We will take up your suggestion of getting some softer pillows. They will be there if you do decide to come back, which I hope you do. Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely house in a peaceful setting…we were surrounded by beautiful daffodils and lambs."

this is lovely house, set in the countryside, yet close to the main road. Good points are plentiful supply of cutlery and crockery. Comfortable beds with lovely bedding. The beds are a bit on the small side but quite adequate Sadly the cleaning and maintenance of some items could be improved. Some dusty areas (behind doors). The fridge needed cleaning and we were unable to open the freezer. Also main bedroom window frame. Having said this , the house is perfectly positioned to access the whole island easily, and we did enjoy our stay. If these issues are addressed I’d have no hesitation in recommending the cottage

We are glad that you did enjoy your stay at Drosgl and thought it was a lovely house in the countryside, in a convenient location. We are sorry to hear that you faced some housekeeping issues during you stay and these comments have been taken on board and action is being taken to rectify these. Property Owner

  • "Excellent location with beautiful views."

Being so central, yet near to the A55, it was easy to get to most places on Anglesey. The cottage was well equipped and warm. Everything was easy to use, which is not always the case with some properties. Would be happy to stay again.

Thank you very much for your comments. I am so pleased you like the cottage for the same reasons that we do. We hope you do decide to stay again. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful cottage with amazing views."

Cottage was exceptionally clean and we had everything there that we needed. The neighbours were friendly. Only downside was that we didn't stay for longer. Great location with easy access to the whole of Anglesey.

  • "Superb place to stay, everything of a high standard."

Only 2 of us so very spacious. Everything you need to make a self catering mini break perfect. Only thing missing was a 'can opener' not all cans are ring pulls so nu custard with the apple pie. Inside teh cottage was perfect but outside a wooden bench to relax at is impossible. Patio set much needed suitable for six people and a good sized table. Not a problem for two of us but won'r revisit with 4 others due to the outside not socialising friendly. But we would return with two of us. Thanks. Local pub excellent. Enjoy Anglesey, lots to offer.

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, we will take a tin opener across straight away! Improved outdoor seating is in our plans and will be in place soon. We really hope to be able to welcome you back soon. Property Owner

A spacious cottage for all 6 of us and our dog. Wonderful views and scenery. A place we would love to visit again. Visited Beaumaris, visited the local village and went on some nice walks. A lovely local pub less than 5 minutes away. A lovely pet store and meat shop just down the road. Thank you
