  • "An honest review of Bella View."

    Quiet, pretty location with lots of lovely walks and only 15 minutes drive into Abersoch. On arrival the patio doors on the bedroom leading to the garden were broken, we text maintenance who advised they would try get it fixed and let us know but nothing come of it. We had a foul smell which we presume was coming from the drain when sitting on the decking dining area and also came through to the bottom floor bedroom. Limited towels for nearly a week’s stay and some of the bed frames are in need of replacement. Despite this, there is lots of room to accommodate a large family and all the bedrooms are really lovely and spacious. Lovely views from the hot tub which was nice and clean.

  • "The house is beautiful."

    We were all very impressed by the size, the bedrooms, the location. We loved the hot tub. It was great having 2 fridges for the number of people staying. There were 3 or 4 issues. Some of the cutlery had old dried food on them. The drain in the bathroom of the ground floor bedroom smelt as if it wasn't draining properly. The window also in that bathroom didn't lock properly. Lastly, the settees weren't the comfiest to sit in for any length of time, especially for people of a certain age with bad backs. Apart from that we would highly recommend the place and probably will rebook.

  • "On arrival the heating and hot water wasn’t working."

    We had to ring the owner for help. In the end we found the switch outside that was turned off?! Then the hot tub switched off so when we went to get in it, it was freezing cold. Luckily we found the trip switch and was able to put it back on, but it took a good 24 hours to heat back up. Also, the hot tub had way too much chlorine in it. It was so uncomfortable to sit in. We could only spend about 10 mins at a time because it was so strong. There were wires hanging down in the kitchen under the cupboards. The bedding in the downstairs bedroom was bobbly and uncomfortable to sleep in. It definitely needs replacing. Some of the steps up to the hot tub are wobbly and in the dark it became quite dangerous. This house is definitely not designed for families it wasn’t practical. Overall we had a nice stay and it was in a lovely private peaceful place but we would probably not return to this particular property.

    Not sure on upstairs kitchen but did have a utility room with fridge downstairs also. Hot tub was great. Only bad thing was the weather.

  • "We have just returned from a 5 day stay at Belle View cottage."

    The cottage itself is absolutely lovely - decorated to a very high standard and all rooms very comfortable. The cottage would have benefited from a welcome pack and instructions on how to use the hotub, amenities, wifi etc like other holiday homes., As we had to try to figure them out ourselves and or wait for the host to message back. The BBQ outside was also left unclean when we arrived. Overall we did enjoy our stay, there is just a couple of things that i think need improving to make the stay a 10/10 x x

  • "The house was lovely, very clean and a lovely quiet area, a few things though that weren’t very well described when we booked it, my Mum is not very good with her disability and the step to the front door is very steep, plus the way the photos are displayed looks like the ground floor bedroom leads on to the garden, the kitchen was upstairs where I can’t see any description at all where it says it is upstairs, which made it difficult for my Mum, also 2 kettles might be a good idea, these are just a few Little things, my Dad is looking at it again next year, so it was very enjoyable experience and we really enjoyed it, but maybe it needs to be a bit more best described for people with a disability about the house?"

    It was exactly as shown in the online booking—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, and all amenities were in perfect condition. The location was great. We would happily come back again and highly recommend it to others!

  • "Absolutely loved staying here, the rooms and location were beautiful!"

    Comfy beds, lovely bathrooms and great communal spaces. Will definitely book again when we go to Abersoch! Only issue was description on booking.com referenced no dogs allowed although features and filters said they were. Had to call Sykes to check, which they were allowed but would be dealing that was removed to stop confusion.

  • "Absolutely loved this cottage."

    Everyone loved the area and the woodland hot tub. Would not hesitate to stay here again. There were 6 of us celebrating 2 big family birthdays. A 50th and a 60th. We cooked all our main meals including a Sunday dinner and the kitchen was well equipped. The bbq was great for the Saturday evening. Beautiful area of Wales.

  • "Very enjoyable stay at this fantastic property."

    The cottage was even better than described and had everything required for a very enjoyable, comfortable experience. The cottage was warm & welcoming upon arrival, the layout was perfect for both social gatherings while still providing quiet areas. The bedrooms were very spacious and all en-suite was perfect. We will certainly be returning.

  • "I filled in an on line form as soon as I arrived."

    I also rang the owner. The description on your website is incorrect. If it had been a correct description of the layout I would not have booked it. It says on the ground floor there’s a downstairs bedroom leading to the living room which leads to the kitchen, and there’s three bedrooms on the first floor. So I booked it because I’m disabled and use a wheelchair so everything was on the ground floor for me. But it wasn’t. The kitchen was upstairs so totally ruined Christmas for us as I only went upstairs when two people carried me which was unsafe. One of the elderly couples decided they couldn’t come when I told them about the layout of the property because they originally assumed they’d only have to go upstairs at bedtime. So the cost had to be divided between two parties instead of three, which we wouldn’t have paid if we’d known about it. Your website also states fuel provided so we didn’t take wood, it wasn’t provided so Christmas Eve had to go looking for wood. Contacted the owner who said he would have to contact Sykes about fuel being provided. Also said to him, as it’s Christmas we thought there’d be a Christmas tree up, his reply was I live in Chester, I’m useless (referring to himself). There wasn’t even a piece of tinsel. The downstairs wet room leaked onto the bedroom floor, and we couldn’t turn the heating off so had to go round turning radiators on and off.

    The only feedback for the owner was that the bins outside had not been emptied for a few weeks so we're already overflowing when we got there and still no bin service at the point of leaving

  • "A beautiful house in a beautiful location."

    The property was very clean and well equipped. Lots of thoughtful extra touches like hot tub towels in beach bags in each room, Nintendo switch in the games room, night lights throughout the house for the kids. A family of 8 stayed and we were all super impressed. The hot tub at the top of the garden was extra special with beautiful views and sky watching all night. Close to the beautiful Abersoch beach where we also spent a lot of our holiday. Would definitely return and recommend!

  • "Great property with excellent facilities."

    The hot tub with great views and being under cover in case of rain, a particularly impressive feature. Indoor cleaning spotless, found an outdoor broom to sweep leaves and grass off decking. Upstairs to the right of top of stairs loo seat fitting broken on our arrival. Not a problem and it should be simple to fix. Great place to stay and would highly recommend 5 stars.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
