  • "A Beautiful House With Great Potential – But Needs a Little TLC The house is exactly as pictured – architecturally stunning with a gorgeous open plan living room, modern kitchen, and a lovely garden space."

The main bathroom is particularly well designed, featuring a beautiful stand alone bath and a walk in shower. The middle floor bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. However, our first impression was let down by the presence of spiders, webs, and bugs around the entrance and hallway. Something we didn’t expect based on the immaculate photos. This theme continued throughout parts of the house, particularly in the piano room and the spare TV room, which unfortunately felt a little neglected and had a much older, slightly eerie atmosphere in contrast to the rest of the home. The top floor bedrooms were a bit cramped due to the sloped wooden beams, which may not suit everyone. Overall, the house has great character and offers plenty of space, but a refresh in certain areas particularly a deep clean in the lesser used rooms, would really enhance the guest experience. With a bit of attention to detail, this property has the potential to be a truly exceptional stay. It’s a spacious and stylish home, and with just a little extra care, it could easily reach 5 star standards.

  • "The property is beautiful, relaxing and stocked with everything you’d need for a great stay."

I would strongly recommend investigating why the front door and bi-fold doors are difficult to open (my mum got locked in the house one day). All in all we had a wonderful stay and were blessed with glorious weather so allowed us to enjoy the garden. We left everything clean and tidy when we left inside and outside. All respect to the owners for sharing their wonderful property with us.

We're so glad you enjoyed the house and your stay at Highways - and thank you for the positive feedback and for leaving the house clean and tidy. That's very much appreciated. We will look into the difficulties with the doors, thanks for alerting us to the problem. We hope you'll come back to visit again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Excellent in every respect."

10 minute walk to amazing view of bay - 30 minutes or less drive to amazing, beaches we had to ourselves in May. Only minor gripes is that for a party of six, there could have been a couple more spare toilet rolls and no hair drier (at least we couldn't find one)

We're glad you had such a great experience at the house and surrounding area - thank you very much for the feedback. We do provide a couple of toilet rolls per bathroom for all our guests as a starting point but don't supply them for the entire duration of the stay. And we don't provide a hair dryer at the property or list one in the property details. Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Highways over the Christmas week."

The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is very spacious with comfortable sofas and the log burner kept the room cosy and atmospheric. The very generous welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The boot room with a door to the outside was so useful particularly when arriving back from a walk with wet boots and dog! All the bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are fabulous. We highly recommend this beautiful home and the area surrounding it which has amazing walks and views.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We’re glad you had an enjoyable stay over Christmas and could make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful home and a wonderful setting for a big family get together we had an amazing time thank you, adults and little ones."

The house is beautifully finished and decorated, comfy beds and lovely bathrooms, towels and bedding all lovely. Highways has everything you could need and in a peaceful location close to Morfa Nefyn Beach where we walked and had a wonderful family time at Ty Coch pub, the best hot chocolate, coffee and Bloody Mary ever, the food at The Cliffs was home made, fantastic and they accommodated all of us so brilliantly for a special birthday, the local fish & chip shop was brilliant too. The main lounge open plan kitchen with table seating for 10 was such a fabulous space for my family and we loved sitting round the log burner fire. The house is quiet and peaceful despite having so many of us there, hope to definitely book again, we all said we should do this every year, thank you.

Thank you so much for such positive feedback. We're really happy to hear that you had such a memorable time at Highways and in Morfa Nefyn. We'd love to have you back there in the future! Property Owner

  • "A beautifully renovated property, clearly recently finished to a good standard."

The back garden is not too private but a great seating area , sloping lawn may make children’s ball games a bit tricky but the beach calls out for that. The front door is very stiff to open and I cut my knuckle on it twice, probably the newness of it . Motion sensored lighting was great for moving about in the dark without having to use main lights. A main bathroom to die for ! All in all a great place to stay.

Thanks for the positive feedback, it's great to hear that you had such a lovely time at the house. We've looked at the front door since your stay, as it was a bit stiff. So happy that you loved the bathroom! Property Owner

  • "Lovely big house with loads of space for everybody and in a great liocation."

All the facilities and furniture are fantastic and the beds are very comfortable. The huge kitchen / dining / living area is amazing and with the glass folding / sliding doors opening directly onto the rear terrace and garden it creates a massive living area with a definate WOW factor. It was also really great to have another two living rooms so the kids (and adults) could have some seperate space. All in all one of the best holiday properties we’ve ever rented and the Morfa Nefyn area and beaches are amazing too.

  • "We had an absolutely amazing stay at this stunning, newly renovated house in Morfa Nefyn!"

The property is spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, offering everything you need for a perfect holiday. There is also plenty of off road parking. The open-plan living area was great for our group to relax and enjoy meals together and we particularly liked the large bifolding doors overlooking the large garden and patio. The location was fantastic, close to both the beach and within driving distance to other places of interest, giving us plenty of options for exploring and walking our dog. There is also a spar shop nearby and The Cliffs pub is within walking distance…it has a good atmosphere and we had a great meal here; although you do need to book as it is popular. We felt very welcome and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog friendly holiday home – can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommended!
