  • "Took 3 attempts by email and phone for information on using the warren facilities."

Sykes cottages ( the Menai number) told me “we aren’t Menai holidays so it’s not our problem we’ve not sent this to you”. Get to site. The owner hasn’t provided our QR codes (my 4th contact to arrange this). Then the codes do not work and our car registration is not registered. Another contact to the owner (5th contact). Pleasant stay as with our family but this was unnecessarily stressful and heavily administrative when it shouldn’t be. Sofa is completely worn down and so uncomfortable to sit on. Main bedroom is a small double and is not listed as such. I have never had this before. I would not book with Menai or M6 again.

Thank you for your feedback. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused, and also any disappointment you have faced by the current administrative procedure to access the leisure facilities at The Warren. Sykes have reached out to you to see how we can best resolve this. Your feedback is valuable and helps us monitor customer satisfaction and identify any areas where we can improve our service if necessary. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.The Sykes/ Menai Team Property Owner

  • "Lovely week and place to stay, we had a wonderful week and enjoyed the facilities in the centre especially and used the pool nearly every day."

M6 was very cosy and a home from home, just could do with a days worth of maintenance (peeling wall paper in bathroom, broken toilet seat etc). Thanks for having us.

About the location

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
