  • "Great cottage with everything you could possibly want."

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. Home from home. Faultless ! Fabulous transport links meant we were able to complete the Wales coastal path from Caernarfon to Prestatyn without getting in our car at all.

  • "Parking ones car is the only downside for me, but it was highlighted in the booking info so can't complain to much."

Could not fault the property. Very clean and we'll kept and very quiet. The only complaint I have got about my holiday is the stupid 20 mph rule you now have in Wales. My car tells me what mpg I am getting from the engine and my right foot. On the flat at 30 mph in 4th gear I get a reading of 35 mpg. At 20mph on the same road I only get 18 mpg as I have to change to 3rd gear to stop the engine from gudering. Next year, when I am deciding where to go on holiday, the 20 mph rule will have great bearing on my decision has to where I go and I think Wales will be well down the list.

  • "We had a great stay at Crapapple cottage."

Everything about it was just right, from the tucked away location to the garden furniture and kitchen equipment. We had no issues parking up on the main road (Pentre Uchaf) for the whole week. Enjoyed the local walks and the cottage was well sited for exploring North Wales/Anglesey. Log fire was welcome on a wet/cold day. We would stay again.

  • "From the moment we arrived outside the front door of the cottage we were impressed."

On opening the door greeted with a welcome mat and plenty of space for coat and shoe storage. The bright fresh welcoming appearance of the furnishings and decor in the bedroom (very comfy double bed) and lounge highlights the love that has gone into making this cottage cosy and stylish with a luxurious feeling. Central heating as well as log burner. The kitchen was very good and a full both room too with a good power shower. Everything you might need was there, home from home. I loved the stable door

  • "Lovely cottage."

Shame about the parking but there was a warning of it in the directions. Couldn't get our car in the tiny road outside even to drop off. Super area and a comfortable cottage.

We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and glad to read in our guest book that you're planning to return soon. Unfortunately in 1860 when the cottage was built, the planners weren't very considerate about the size of the road, however we think that the fact the cottage is tucked away adds to it's charm. Most of our guests, ourselves and all of the residents drive onto Pool Street despite it looking tight at both entrances until you've driven it. We weren't convinced that our plumber would be able to get his transit van through but two minutes later he was unloading at the gate with a big smile on his face Property Owner

So cosy on a cold evening with a lovely log burner to add that warm feeling. The rear garden is a great space to relax in the warmer weather or eat a meal or have a cuppa or perhaps something a little stronger in the evening. We had a lovely week there at the end of February/early March 2023.

So peaceful and serene. It had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and perfect for our short stay. We even made friends with a beautiful ginger and white cat who had taken up residence in the garden. Will definitely consider staying again!
