  • "Lovely bungalow."

Very clean and tidy. Comfy beds. A couple of doors don't shut properly. Settee not that comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Would stay again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Internal doors have been planed again and all are opening/closing as normal. We also now have new sofas in the lounge. Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely renovated holiday property."

The rooms are spacious and bright especially the living room, having three windows to all sides, which overlook the ample gardens. Plenty of kitchen appliances in the large newly fitted kitchen. It’s perfectly situated, the coastal path with stunning views of Nefyn bay is just at the back of the property. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the steep road. With a cafe at the bottom, glorious beach or coastal path walks in either direction. The sofas perhaps need replacing, to fit in with the newly decorated living room. It’s a minor negative comment but unfortunately they were not particularly that comfortable. Otherwise this is a great property and holiday location. I would definitely recommend and book again.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We’re glad you had a good time and enjoyed the house and area. It’s a very special place for us. We would love to welcome you again. Property Owner

  • "The property is beautifully maintained but there were a few issues that were disappointing given the price we paid."

On arrival the bathroom and cloakroom doors did not shut. One of the bedroom doors was jammed so tightly shut we thought it was locked, and it couldn't be opened from the inside once closed without someone pushing very hard at the top of the door from the outside. We had to get maintenance in to sort it out. Doors now close. I can see from the previous reviewer that the doors had been an issue the week before, and it was stated incorrectly that they had been put right. We had booked for 5 people but had been provided with 3 rather small towels. Again, this was rectified once I'd asked. The house is advertised as suitable for 6. There are 4 dining room chairs. A water jug and coffee pot would have been appreciated, and instuctions for the dishwasher would have been helpful. It was nice sitting out in the back garden getting the afternoon sun, even if the view of the oil tank wasn't the best.

Thank you for your feedback, which we do appreciate. The doors are newly fitted/painted so must have swollen. They were checked following a prior guest review and were closing again so we’re very sorry that when you arrived the issue had arisen again. The maintenance team were very quick to come out to you and rectify the situation - doors were removed, sanded down and all is now well. The dining table is extendable. We tend to have it set to a smaller size and guests can extend it if they want to. There are 2 additional chairs in the bedrooms. Your comments re towels, water jug and coffee pot are all very good points. We’ve ordered larger bath towels now for guests. Property Owner

  • "Lovely, clean and really well equipped cottage."

The only thing which needs sorting out is the ill fitting doors. The bathroom/toilet doors really need to be able to close properly so that they can be locked. They just need a bit of adjustment by a joiner. The bedroom doors also need to properly close and open for fire safety. It would be really useful to have an outdoor washing line and pegs in addition to the clothes airer provided. Your cottage was lovely though, and we really enjoyed staying there.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your time at the house. The doors are now fixed and opening/closing as they should be. Property Owner

  • "Very nice property in a very quiet lane."

House was well maintained and very comfortable, with a small garden with seating area. Very nice welcome pack with some Welsh cakes. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of utensils and equipment. Like most holiday cottages we have rented some of the internal doors don't close properly. Lots of area for parking. The lane leading to the property is very rough and narrow, thankfully its not very far. The road to the beach is very steep but there is a small car park at the bottom. Lovely sandy beach. The cliff path starts quite wide and flat but, in places, is narrow and steep. There is a small very pleasant community pub in the middle of the village. The Cliffs pub at Morfa Nefyn serves a good meal but gets busy so best to book. The beach at Morfa Nefyn is supposed to be dog free but believe me it isn't. The local authority don't seem to care. Overall a nice quiet area with fabulous views and nice walks.

Thank you for your lovely review and for taking care of things in the house. We’re glad you enjoyed the views and walks - we love them too. The internal doors are all newly fitted/painted. We’ve had them checked following your feedback and all seem to be closing now. The larger grass area at the side of the house also belongs to the house. Guests are welcome to use all of the garden area. Once again thank you and we’re really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
