  • "We had a lovely stay in Top Floor."

The flat was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Facilities were fine, with a great shower and quality furniture. The views from the three windows were fabulous, and we watched the famous goats from the bedroom window. To brighten the place up, more pictures and ornaments would be nice. A name on the door of the flat would be helpful too. These are just minor things and we would recommend this property to anyone who doesn't mind stairs!

  • "Very clean, convenient property with excellent views."

Would recommend and return. Would benefit from pictures on wall and labelling of keysafe and door as well as a brief information pack.

  • "Given that our stay was over a 27 night period we feel the following review is a fair one."

The apartment itself is as described and is in a central location to Llandudno, it is basic and has what you would need within for a short or long term stay (kitchen utensils, towels etc) our only criticism for the kitchen would be that there isn’t a freezer element to the existing fridge which for a long term stay would have been useful. I would like to add that the wardrobe within the bedroom is not very practical and we found it a struggle to use the bottom drawer. Given the length of our stay we wanted to keep the property clean and tidy, we asked for the use of a hoover to which we were told was kept in a cupboard within the communal hall, this was only available to use once within our four week stay. During our stay we soon realised that the block of apartments are not just holiday apartments as listed, residents also live within. For some reason the main doors to the entrance of the building were propped open all hours of the day or left on the latch, from a security point of view I would advise this to be addressed. Unfortunately almost every day of our stay we had to listen to the below resident blasting music with bass on full from 8am until 10pm. This soon became an annoyance to us and meant we were unable to relax during our stay. Also across from the holiday apartment is another holiday let which has a hot tub outside, everyday during our stay this was in use by families, loud screaming from children and music was heard all hours of the day with little consideration for anyone else. Overall I feel this apartment is in a good central location and has what you’d need within but if you are wanting a relaxing holiday this isn’t the place for you.

  • "Fourth floor apartment with fabulous views over Llandudno to both coasts."

It is ideally situated for shops, pubs and restaurants. Kings head is a great little traditional pub, just up the road. The apartment was very clean. Well equipped and anything that was lacking was quickly sorted out by the owner, who was very accommodating. Would recommend Top Floor and hope to return again soon.

  • "Had a 3 night stay at the top floor and absolutely loved it!"

Views are lovely, can see the Great Orme and the famous Llandudno goats from the bedroom window. Can also see the beautiful hills and sea. Property was clean, spacious, and tidy, and the kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to the town centre and the 2 beaches and enjoyed the scenic walk from the room to the west beach.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
