"Lovely cottage, ideally situated for visiting all parts of the island."
Had everything we needed in the property. We have stayed in numerous cottages over the years on Anglesey but have to say this one stood out from the rest. Absolutely spotless. A credit to Nerys and co. Would not hesitate to book again.

"We had a lovely stay."
The property has a charming hostess who welcomed us on arrival and made sure that we were settled and knew useful information like the programmed central heating times. We were also welcomed to ask if we needed to change these during our stay. I am a wheelchair user with some limited mobility indoors, travelling with my husband, and the property met our needs perfectly. It is just right for two people wanting a small and cozy base from which to explore the beautiful Island of Mon (Anglesey).

"We had an amazing week staying in Trem Y Wyddfa, the cottage was beautifully situated, with an incredible view of Eryri(Snowdonia)."
The cottage was very well equipped and the fixtures and fittings were of a really high standard. The owners were lovely and very helpful. Ideally situated for visiting everywhere on Anglesey. Really can't recommend this cottage enough. Oh and the Penrhos Arms in Llanfair PG is really friendly with the Golden Bird Chinese takeaway almost next door(great food and very large portions).
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here despite one or two wet days, well we were in Wales weren't we!
Honestly can't wait to return.

"We have stayed here many times, and whether we hire a cottage or the caravan, there is always a warm welcome."
Everything is spotlessly clean and the site is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, an ideal location for touring round the coastal areas of the Island we love the most.

"Very enjoyable few days in this well presented and very clean cottage in a lovely rural setting."
Well equipped kitchen.Very comfy beds with nice linen. Car parking by property always good.
Only niggle heated towel rail needs to be independent of main heating (which is controlled by owner) so not able to dry towels.
A bit more signage from road would be helpful. If you want a cuppa when you first arrive take supplies no welcome pack at all.

"This idyllic property is well worth a visit, the owners were friendly and helpful."
We booked a 2 week holiday at this property but unfortunately due to unavoidable family circumstances had to leave after only 3 days. A big Thank You for the kindness of the owners. The accommodation was spotless, with all the comforts of home and the views are outstanding. We are defiantly looking forward to returning to this property in the future.

"Although cottage was spotlessly clean and pleasant we had no access to heating should it be needed."
Owner told us it was controlled by them.
She did say she would put it on an hour mornings and 2 in the evening but this did not happen. We were not cold but being a wet week it would have been good to dry our clothes. Towels stayed
Damp all week.
If they are worried about heating Costs they should follow example of other owners and allow a certain amount of heating expenditure for guests and if they exceed that amount they pay the difference.Towel rails should be heated independent of heating system. No point in having one otherwise. Never stayed anywhere with this arrangement before.
No outside light at cottage so not good coming back in the dark.
These points tarnished the holiday somewhat.

damp as towel rail was attached to heating system. No outside light when we came back in the dark.
Would suggest that like other cottages we have stayed in they say we can have up to a certain amount in heating charges but if we use over that then we pay the difference? A heated towel rail should be independent of central heating.
These things tarnished the holiday somewhat.

"Lovely cottage."
Very clean and very well equipped. Owner was friendly and very helpful. What let it down was the lack of comfortable seating. A two seater settee and a curious swivel chair. It needs an easy chair. Its disability friendly but the seating is not. Owner very responsive to questions and was extremely helpful

"This is a beautiful cottage, well designed, well appointed, clean, cosy and comfortable, set in lovely gardens with fantastic views of the Snowdon mountains."
The only disappointment for us was its location so close to the A55 main road. Had the weather permitted, we would have found sitting outside unpleasant with the constant traffic noise. It is a pity that Sykes did not reveal the precise location of the property until after booking and payment is complete. Having said that, we had a great holiday in this beautiful cottage.

"This is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful location with excellent views to the Snowdon Mountain range in the distance."
It is easily accessible from the mainland with shops and pubs nearby. The cottage was absolutely spotless with everything needed to cook to hand. I have no hesitation in recommending it as a lovely place to stay.

"Firstly, it is crucial that the directions provided by the owner are followed, and not the sat nav !"
..I doubt if you would find it otherwise. Very secluded, and quiet which was just what we were after, with spectacular views of Snowdonia from the property.
We received a very warm welcome from the owners, and went on to have a wonderfully relaxing week.
Thank you

"I was shocked to hear, after booking and paying in full that we were not entitled to any money back should our area go into local lockdown that would affect holiday bookings."
I understand that we are living in strange times but I think that this should be looked at to make people feel more confident in booking.
Another surprise was the location of the cottage following the pictures. From the photography and descriptions it looks like this is a little cottage set in its own grounds, not that of several other properties. I was a little disappointed on arrival.
Having said that, the site was wonderfully quiet with no disturbance. The owners were exceptional, so friendly and really could not do enough to help.
The cottage was clean and contained everything you need for a relaxing stay. Could not fault the facilities.
The issue was more with Sykes cottages rather than the owners who deserve every success and congratulations for the service they provide.
So many amazing attractions on the doorstep. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage, just feel like Sykes might hamper what is a lovely little location with exceptional service. If I were the owner I would be having a serious word with Sykes about their customer service and also slight misinterpretation of the actual location!
