  • "Cottage very comfy and great centre for Bedale and surrounding areas to visit."

Disappointed that there was no parking as advertised fortunately there was parking available on the market place.

Would definitely visit this cottage again.

  • "Negatives: The property is advertised with 'Parking at the rear' - we arrived at 8pm after a long drive to be informed by the neighbours the property we were staying in does not own any part of the driveway at the rear and to park on the High Street - not a great start to our stay."

The bedding was over perfumed, which affected my asthma and the lack of a curtain or blind to cover up the landing window made going to the bathroom from the bedrooms uncomfortable, especially as there isn't a hook on the bathroom door for a dressing gown. Positives: The furniture and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent as long as you don't mind parking on the High Street.
