• "This is an incredible house!"

  Perfect for our family group of 16, probably the best house we’ve been to for large groups. There’s two of most things which is incredibly helpful, two big fridge freezers, two dishwashers, two washing machines and dryers etc, this is just amazing with a large group. The house is warm and comfortable, really comfy sofas, everything is new, en suites in all rooms, very close to the beach, under cover hot tub, huge table to all sit round, what more can you ask for?! Would recommend and stay again, thank you for having us!

• "The house had everything we needed and was finished to a good standard."

  Great location and parking. The hot tub was enjoyed by the children. Our visit was in late October and the only real downside was that the bedrooms were on the cold side even with the thermostat on the landing area set to 20 deg and some of the showers need attention.

  Thanks for the feedback Brian. We have had a couple of comments about the showers. 2 are electric, 5 are mixer valve showers fed by two large pressurised tanks. We have replaced the valves in all 5 mixer showers. This appears to have resolved the issue with temperature fluctuation. • "Overall we had a lovely time at Coral Villa Key Positives Location - 5 minutes to the sea front and a short stroll to the harbour It is a well appointed attractive accommodation with minor aspects of wear and tear that you would associate with a well used property."

  Each room - except the bunk bed room, has an en-suite with sink, shower, toilet and modern heated towels rails in them. It is an ideal property for large parties to celebrate an event, with generous lounge seating and dining area, with a the hot tub being a lovely touch that was enjoyed by many of our group. Kitchen has two ovens/kettles/dishwashers and ample fridge and freezer, an extra toaster at breakfast would be helpful. There were a few negatives that visitors should be aware of and the property owners may wish to address. We understood that the bedroom on the ground floor was suitable for a disabled person - it really is not. The position of the toilet in the corner makes it difficult to assist someone who has limited movement on one side. The shower has no rails or slip mats or shower seat. The addition of a rail by the toilet and in the shower, as well as a non slip mat, would make all the difference - it would be great to be able to hire a shower seat. This was a special birthday celebration and I had the back room at the top of the house. The bathroom has a drain smell which was quite bad at times and so I mainly used the family bathroom as the front. The showers were an issue that disappointed all. They appear modern and for short times work fine. However when you have shampoo in your eyes and feel like you are playing a game of Boppit with the controls its no fun. They randomly go from very hot to freezing. It may be an operator problem, though we all struggled - A laminate in each bathroom to explain operation is needed. Housekeeping - I am old fashioned - I do not want to get into bedding that has come straight out of a dryer without ironing - sheets on bed bottom really crumpled - I sympathise that it must be difficult to turn this large house around in a day. The soap dispensers give a false sense of luxury when many were empty so probably better removed if there isn't time to fill them. Guests please bring some oven trays if you are doing buffet. Whilst lots of pans, mugs, plates and serving dishes there is a shortage of oven trays and though there are a couple they have not been kept well by previous guests. - Pyrex jugs and oven trays would be a welcome addition and easier to dishwash and keep nice - feel quality over quantity and a bit of a sort out is needed. Would I go back - yes definitely, if the grab rails were installed to the downstairs room and the shower instructions were improved though I would take extra bakeware.

• "Firstly, i just want to say we had a lovely holiday."

  The main issues were dealt with quickly by the owner. The house could be a 5 star property with some maintenance, some TLC and a really good clean. First impressions.. walking down the pathway to the back door and cobwebs, sand, leaves being the first thing you see. To the point I got the brush and swept it myself. We have been going on family holidays for over 25 years, this house was not on the top 10 list BUT it so could be, which is the disappointing thing.

• "Coral Villa was situated ideally as it was on the periphery for all holiday makers, A few minutes walk will take you to the beach, amusements and plenty of eateries and shops."

  This property was amazing with an abundance of crockery, cutlery, pans and glassware and each bathroom was stocked with shampoo, body-wash and towels. Outside was a barbecue and hot-tub with dedicated towels. Even the washers, tumble driers and dishwasher had all the necessary pods and tablets etc. We enjoyed our stay immensely and created many happy memories,

• "Coral Villa suited our group perfectly especially with having a bedroom on the ground floor as one of our party was disabled."

  The kitchen and living spaces were lovely. The location was great for easy access to North Beach and town centre. One thing that let the house down was a general maintenance issue, with loose fittings in several rooms and some of the electric showers didn't always work due to water pressure issues. The front and back doors were not the easiest to lock or unlock Many of the hand soap dispensers were empty. Overall we had a great stay at Coral Villa and would certainly consider this house again if ever we went back to Bridlington

  Hi John, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Since receiving your review we have replaced a number of toilet roll holders and towel rail holders around the house. We have replace the only two electric showers with new units (the others are mains fed from our pressurised tanks) and had both door lock changed. We’ve also enhanced the checking of the body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in each of the en-suite showers as despite the fact they are 500ml each they do get used quickly. We are now confident that should you wish to return the issues you have identified would no longer be present. • "We were a group of 14, we had a wonderful stay at coral villa."

  The house was really well equipped for a large group the 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges were a real asset. The large dining area was a great space and we spent most of our time in there. The cleanliness of the house was spotless and everything very comfortable. Our only negatives were many of the showers were really temperamental and would go from boiling hot to freezing. We enjoyed the area with its stunning long coastal paths and a trip to Bemton cliffs and Filey. We would of appreciated some information about the house, a visitors book/guide. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

  House is very well presented and spacious for a large group. Rooms all have en-suite and beds very comfy. Allocated parking was good for multiple cars and additional hot tub was great. Location and proximity to sea front and local shop and food places was very good too. All round a great family weekend and highly recommend this property.

• "Myself & my party thought this place was fabulous , we found it clean, comfy & spacious & had just about every thing we needed—( the coffee machine proved popular)."

  We are primarily all walkers & this place was a great base to go & venture up & down the coastline around this part of the country & of course Walkers & Hot tubs go hand in hand, as well as visiting the local drinking & food establishments & the free parking is always a gold mine—Only have one minor query( it’s not a complaint)—We didn’t find any kind of visitors book/welcome pack for local info or info about using the equipment etc, it’s always useful—But whenever we come back to this part of the country, then we will certainly be looking at staying here— Thank you

• "We stayed at this beautiful villa for a long weekend (16 of us)."

  Everything was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The villa was well equipped with kitchen items to toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner etc. We only needed to contact the owner on arrival to help us find the carpark at the back of the property and his communication was great. The north beach is a short walk away (5 mins) but not as clean as the south beach which is a little further on. Can’t fault this place, we’ll definitely be coming back!

• "Coral Villa was beautifully presented and ideal for our multigenerational family holiday."

  Everyone had a great time; plenty of space in the bedrooms, the through lounge was great for chilling and for the children playing. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area vast! The hot tub was a bonus and we had a couple of evening barbecues on the patio. The location is fairly central and only minutes from the sea front.

  It was perfect for what we wanted. All guests able to relax and enjoy the time. Facilities were amazing, bedrooms / bathrooms were absolutely beautiful. Spacious and fantastic. Owner came to inform us of a couple of things and he was absolutely brilliant. Recommended a few places to eat / drink. (Maybe a leaflet of local bars / restaurants could be provided on arrival). Could not fault the property at all. A perfect weekend.

  It’s the perfect place to have a family and friends get together. It is aesthetically pleasing from the rooms to the utensil, kitchen fully equipped with all you need. It is in close proximity to the beach and convenient stores. We really had a great time in Coral Vila. I will highly recommend.

• "It's a beautiful spacious house with very good facilities."

  We had a bit of a problem with the heating but the property manager responded to our query promptly and arranged a plumber to sort it. Our one disappointment was with the accessibility of the downstairs shower for the member of of our party who is a wheelchair user. It would have been helpful for him and his carer if there had been a bit more space in the shower room, and if the shower doors were sliding rather than hinged. He took a shower seat with him and also a suction grab rail, but the rail couldn't be used because of the tiled surface. Apart from this the ground floor was good for wheelchair access.

  Thank you for your kind words. We recognise the shortage of wheel chair friendly holiday accommodation, and have tried to design the ground floor to be as wheel chair friendly as possible. We have taken on board your constructive comments about the shower doors. We actually fitted a large cubical for the downstairs shower room (800x1200) with swing-out doors (left and right) to enable easier access for wheel chair users. Now that you have suggested sliding doors each side would improve access we are going to look into changing this shower cubicle over. Thank you for the constructive feedback.
