  • "Wellington Lodge is an ideal size for large families and groups but is in need of some TLC."

Some of the curtains are hanging off the runners, the bannisters were very dusty as were the hard floors. The microwave had overflowed food baked on in it, had we been left a cloth and some dish soap we could have dealt with this. The shower in the room above the dining room leaked and water ran through the kitchen ceiling. We did contact the owner about this but judging by the water mark on the ceiling it looks like it is an on going problem. The kitchen is well stocked with cups, cutlery and utensils and the hot tub was brilliant. The bedrooms are all large with comfy beds. Wellington Lodge is ideally placed close to Bridlington's town centre and could be amazing with some on going maintenance.

Thank you very much for your review. We’re so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the house, the large comfortable bedrooms, the well-equipped kitchen, and of course the hot tub — it’s wonderful to know that these features helped make your visit enjoyable. Our location is something many guests appreciate, and we’re glad it worked well for your plans too. We’re genuinely sorry that certain aspects of the house were not up to our usual standards during your stay. We take guest comfort seriously, and your comments have been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so we can address these points promptly and ensure the high level of presentation we aim for is always met. We truly appreciate your constructive feedback — it helps us continue to improve the guest experience and keep Wellington Lodge at the standard our visitors expect and deserve. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future so you can enjoy an even better stay. Thank you - Yvonne (Owner) Property Owner

  • "The property was ideal for a large party of friends or family to spend time together."

The large dining kitchen is especially ideal. Comfortable and clean bedrooms though possible the showers need checking for effective drainage, some rapidly overflowed.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that the property suited your group so well and that you enjoyed the spacious dining kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The large dining table is one of my own favourite features of the house too — it’s such a lovely space for everyone to gather and spend time together. We also appreciate you mentioning the shower drainage. Feedback like yours is genuinely helpful and has been taken into account as part of our ongoing maintenance and improvements to keep the property in great condition for future guests. Thank you again for choosing Wellington Lodge. We’d be delighted to welcome you back whenever you’re next planning a get-together. thank you Yvonne (Owner) Property Owner

  • "This is a comfortable house with a well appointed kitchen with all the utensils that you may need to cook for a large group."

The large kitchen table was brilliant and the beds were really comfortable. It is situated not far from the centre of Bridlington so there were plenty of places nearby to eat and drink if required. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 100 to 40 years old and we had a great time. Would really recommend the house as a place to stay.

  • "For our large family gathering the bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal."

The huge table was perfect for our dining needs. The hot tub was spotless .However the Outside area needed a complete tidy up.With a bit of input this could be a really good space. Unfortunately we couldn’t use it to its best as it was.
