Great access and parking at the cottage Unfortunately there were quite a few issues requiring attention In the courtyard at the rear of the property is a lovely hot tub which the wife used and enjoyed, although we had an issue with the concrete flooring which had broken into little pieces which were really sharp In the kitchen which is set up very nicely and has plenty of utilities there is an oven which requires a deep clean and ovens fixing The flooring has been damaged in the living room which is a shame as it is a lovely room with really comfortable seating The bed upstairs is really comfortable we slept so well and there was plenty of space The bathroom was lovely also with a great shower We had a great week and the owner was easy to get in touch with and helpful The cottage is in a lovely location but it does require some updating and a good deep clean

  • "Was a beautiful property in a great location the beds were super comfy and the bath i wanted to take home with me it was huge and was perfect after a long day to relax in."

We were a little disappointed we went to the butchers and bought some meat for a barbecue but didn't use it has the barbecue needed a deep clean so we had to make do with cooking them inside but was quite a challenge with only 1 oven working but we managed it. Was a relaxing break just what we needed.

  • "Beautiful cottage."

We used it as a base because me and my daughter in law were taking part in the Yorkshire Mighty Hike and wanted a hot tub to soothe our aching muscles afterwards. The cottage is fabulously comfy, especially the beds, and well equipped. Owners very responsive to queries and very helpful.

  • "Great place, really enjoyed our stay."

Not much interaction with the host but, in all fairness, non really required. The cottage is very comfortable and well supplied (couldn’t find a cheese grater) but would benefit from a little TLC in the maintenance and maybe the back gate could have a lock installed, we bought a padlock to secure the back gate whilst the dogs were outside.

  • "Really impressed with Hazel Cottage as a whole."

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay here for the weekend. The house did not disappoint, highlights for us were the hot tub, underfloor heating and the fire which we used after returning from our hikes each day. We travelled from Plymouth to stay at the cottage and we certainly intend to return. Cheers Danny & Ebony.

  • "We had a lovely stay at hazel cottage!"

The property itself was clean and well kept upon arrival with plenty of parking down the side. We had some friends who lived locally who came to visit for the day and parking 3 cars was no issue. The owner was helpful and pointed us in the right direction of some local eateries which we visited... 22 the square and the old bank. We spent most of our time exploring and taking the dogs out, the hot tub was enjoyable on an evening. We intend to revisit at Hazel Cottage and give it a 5 star rating.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Hazel Cottage."

I had contacted the owner prior to arrival who was very informative about the house and the surrounding area as we were wanting to explore. The house itself was incredibly warm and comfortable, the superking bed in the master was particularly comfy! My children slept in the other 2 rooms. Noted the underfloor heating in the kitchen and the bathroom were nice touches. The hot tub was great on an evening after we’d been out in Skipton for the day with the children and dog. There is ample parking down the side of the property which we used as we had some friends who lived locally (enough for at least 3 cars) who came to see us. We will be revisiting this property and contacted the owner to let them know how much we had enjoyed it. Ben & Ruta xx
