    Extremely spacious and very well equipped with everything you may need. Very light and airy. Great location with Co-Op, bakery and pizza place within a few doors. We will return.

    The lovely welcome pack was much appreciated and the location suited us perfectly for the walking we had planned that week. If we were to suggest an improvement, it would be an info pack on how some of the appliances work and what facilities are good in the local area, pubs eateries etc. Would stay again.

    The only downside for us was no parking outside for the whole of our stay, there was however free parking just round the corner. Lovely little restaurant at Skinningrove. Would definately stay here again if in the area.

    The standard of everything is excellent. Our two year old loved the space on offer (and the smart tv)! The kitchen is very well equipped and with the supermarket close by we were able to cook all our favourite family meals. Highly recommended.

  • "The property was excellent with lots of attention to detail."

    The contents of the flat are of better quality than I expected for a property let to holidaymakers. Parking is nearby and plentiful but for anyone with mobility issues the lack of a dedicated parking space outside the flat is a bit of a drawback. Nonetheless, the accommodation in no way disappointed and is well situated for visiting the area.

  • "The flat offers plenty of space for a party of 6 people."

    It is nicely refurbished, clean and tidy, and felt very comfortable. Secondary glazing means there is no noise from outside and big windows allow plenty of light in. There is easy car parking just nearby whilst there are great walks to the coast from the flat itself. It is really handy to have a good co-op store virtually next door and the bus to Whitby leaves from just over the road. The whole setup was perfect for us.

    The flat is spacious and everyone has enough room. Bathrooms are both excellent and a good dining kitchen. Bedding and towels great quality and very clean. Owner was lovely to deal with and very approachable, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

    The apartment was clean and tidy, very spacious and welcoming after a days sightseeing. Kitchen well equipped and the beds comfort second to none. Plenty of space to chill out after tea in the lounge with a decent sized tv and the free chocolates' provided. Would definitely recommend this apartment as a base for the north east coast and will be back again in the future.

    We absolutely loved our two nights here . Perfect location for exploring the Whitby Coast . This huge 3 bed apartment as soon you could possibly need .. co - op & bakery too right outside. We were sad to have you leave . However will I will be back in the new year for longer next time .

Nestled in the coastal village of Loftus is a first-floor apartment, sitting in a charming Victorian building.

Flat 3 is perfect for a small group of friends or a family unit looking to explore the North York Moors coast and country.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea 4 miles; Hinderwell 6 miles; Whitby 14 miles.

The village of Loftus lies 14 miles north of Whitby on the east coast of Yorkshire. Originally an old alum mining village, it comprises terraced houses, old stone cottages and a few grand stone dwellings. The long and lively main street hosts a variety of shops, eateries, pubs, banks and an impressive town hall. Lying behind the main street is a leisure centre with an excellent swimming pool. Loftus is well placed for discovering the small coastal villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes, the latter being a popular choice for artists. Four miles to the north is the elegant spa town of Saltburn with its golf club and long pier stretching over the wide sands. The stunning North Yorkshire Moors countryside is on the doorstep and the Jurassic fossil coast lies to the south.
