  • "It would be nice to have a handbook on operating the property."

Such as dish washer and washing machine. It would also be nice to have a second key (I know there is a lock box but sometimes it is quicker to pop out). The fuse box should be available to reset if trips.

  • "We had a lovely 2 night stay here, the house was amazing, had lots of character and had plenty of space for all 10 of us."

Couldn't believe how big the bedrooms were! Kitchen was very well equipped had everything we needed. Short drive to beach with the kids but you could walk it if you wanted to. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for a lovely stay :)

  • "Just came back from a lovley holiday in Scarborough."

I would recommend staying at Victorian house. The house is lovley, spacious and clean. The beds are comfy and loads of wardrobe space. The bathroom downstairs was great with shower and washer in there. Theres a Massive table in the dinning room which we sat around for family meals and played games in the evenings. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed when we cooked a meal. Even had a dishwasher. The children loved playing chess and the table top pool table that was at the house. Theres a bathroom on the 1st floor with a bath and another shower and a seperate toilet next door. All 5 bedrooms were all lovley tidy and clean when we arrived. Dogs are welcolme . We had 4 dogs with us which was lovley as they are part of our family too. There is a enclosed yard to the rear with garden furniture. Would stay again had such a lovley time. Thank you

  • "Lovely house for all the family, everything you need in the kitchen lots of extras that were very good."

Beds very comfortable, settees in the front room comfortable but low and very old fashioned with some wear. New downstairs bathroom very good and big but very cold and shower door does not close fully, basin in shower tilting away from plug so water collects. Could do with a toilet on the second floor. Needs carpet on stairs as very creaky especially when people have to come down to toilet in the night. Tap in kitchen was constantly running (son is a plumber and said the unit needed changing as it had gone inside) we had to have this all weekend and very annoying at times. Overall though a very good stay really enjoyed it. Thank you.

  • "Victorian house was beautiful."

We were there 4 nights for New Year and the house was lovely and warm with the benefits of under floor heating downstairs. The beds were really comfortable and had lovely bed linen on them all. The kitchen had everything you need and a lovely big American fridge which came in very handy as there was 10 in our party. It was a short stroll to the town and seafront which we did everyday. We would definitely stay here again. We did try to re-book for this New Year unfortunately it was not available. The only negative comment IWW could make was there was a tear in the sitting room leather sofa which could do with either replacing or repairing.

  • "Hi, our first impressions when we entered the house were very good."

Flowers in the kitchen, wine and cake as little extras. Every room was lovely and bedrooms were all a decent size with lots of wardrobe space. Kitchen was great with lots of glasses/cup/plates etc. once we got our bearings we discovered it was only a 20 minute walk to town but actually had lots of bars and restaurants just round the corner. Our only suggestions would be for a radio or something similar in kitchen and more utensils for cooking with….eg spatulars/tongs etc. and one other thing to note is that the floorboards are very creaky so theres no going to the loo quietly in the middle of the night. But as a whole it was a lovely house and would recommend. (Ps…we had the queen size room and bed was very comfortable) Thank you for a lovely stay. :-) x

  • "The property was wonderful for our party of 10 and a dog for New Year!"

We just about squeezed into the lounge! The kitchen had all appliances and was fully equipped with everything. There were 3 toilets which were needed for 10 people. The dining room was great too to seat us all for meals and playing games. There was underfloor heating so no need to light the fires. There was a local pub nearby which let us take the dog in (Tap & Spile) and it was a nice walk to the beach which took about 20 mins. Would book the property again.

Super comfy beds and roomy bedrooms. Quick response from owners when we had a heating problem .(our error) close to shops, pubs and restaurants.Various walks down to the beach and seafront. Warm and welcoming, the option of using the woodburner made for a cosy Christmas break. On street parking not ideal but workable.
