  • "Loved Flamborough and Ogle cottage."

The only dificulty was keeping the dog downstairs when there was no barrier ( open stairs from back door /kitchen area). Maybe a child gate might help .

  • "Loved this End of Terrace property."

Although on a High Street, there was no noise that kept us awake etc. Chippy a few yards down the road. In centre of Flambough village 4 miles from Bridlington. Parking was not an issue, but you may need to park a little away from the property. as Residents next door cars there most of the time. One of the best clean property we stayed in. It suited us as a couple with a large dog. Will definately go back again. There is No Garden just a decking area, which means you have to get up and take your pooch for a wee on the grass area which is appox 150 metres away. But this was not too much of an issue. Everything you needed in the kitchen, we was left some lovely biscuits which did not last long, and a bottle of wine. Thank you to the owners. We went in October 2020 just before 2nd lock down. You can walk to the sea which is appox 15 mins. Plenty of pubs to go for a drink. Exceptional meal at the Northern Star, Who went out of their way to make me feel safe in these covid times.

  • "Cleanliness and facilities exceptional."

Cottage well located for travelling up/down the coast. Plenty of shops in the village to meet needs. Stairs advertised as steep but we have poor mobility and managed without any problem.

  • "We have just left Ogle Cottage in Flamborough."

We didn't want to leave, it was a beautiful fully equipped base for us to spend the week exploring. The area is perfect for dog walkers, the local pubs are generally dog friendly. Lovely local shops and coop with really friendly people. We couldn't have wished for better with the cottage, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and value for money, while all of the extra touches made this a really special place to stay. We loved every moment and will definitely rebook. Thank you.

  • "Very comfortable and clean cottage that was well equipped."

This is probably the only cottage we have ever stayed in that had sharp kitchen knives! Ideally placed for local shops and cafes and for exploring further afield. On arrival we found lovely flowers, wine and biscuits, including some for the dog, which was a very nice touch. I foolishly left some clothes and had only got halfway home before I received a text offering to post them on to me. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this cottage.

  • "Flowers, wine, biscuits on arrival are always a welcome touch."

Cottage was clean and could not be in a better location. The only thing missing was a large pan, we had to use two smaller pans to cook pasta for three. Would definitely visit again.

A bread bin would also be very useful. Location is perfect as a base for east coast travelling and the welcome pack left for us was a really lovely touch.
