    "We had a lovely stay here!"

    It was spotlessly clean, lovely and modern and is in a great location to go to Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington. The hot tub is great-we all loved it in there! Thank you for the lovely flowers, prosecco and milk in the fridge -those personal touches are what make the difference and stands out! We would definitely return here and I would recommend to anyone looking at staying here.

    "Arrived to prosecco and flowers which is a nice touch."

    Clean, Modern caravan. Comfy bed. Massive master bedroom. Two shower rooms. Kitchen has everything you require. Hot tub kept clean and hot on arrival. Peaceful setting. Everything you need for a base to sight see as not too much of a drive to attractions. Would be nice to have a tv in kids room but we brought our own. Owner very courteous keeping in touch.

    "Our first holiday in this type of accommodation and it was excellent."

    Clean, well equipped, easy to find and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Everyone was friendly and the bar was good for a game of pool and a drink. It is ideally located for York, Scarborough, Whitby, Flamingoland and other places. Highly recommended. We would definitely look at coming again.

    "Great long weekend stay."

    Lodge was clean and comfortable and we all enjoyed the hot tub after long walks out at Filey, Hole of Horcum and Dalby Forest. Nice quiet park and dogs loved their holiday. The lodge had everything we needed and would definitely recommend/return. Thanks for prosecco, flowers, milk, sweets and dog biscuits!

    "Spotlessly clean."

    Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen equipmement excellent. Upon entering the property we were greeted with lovely flowers and a bottle if prosecco, lovely touch to the start of our holiday. Information booklet very good with places to visit and eat, and local dog walks. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after being out on walks. Would definitely recommend Silverdale View to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    "Great stay."

    Good park, really nice and quiet. Ideal location, we visited lots of beaches and local attractions close by. The caravan itself was nicely equipped with everything you need. Clean and tidy with a nice touch of fresh flowers, sweets, milk, and fizz! We had an issue with power, but we called and we were helped within minutes which was great. We have a dog but didn't bring him, maybe next time we would look at a lodge that is not dog friendly, as there was lots of dog hairs appearing here and there, but we get that, as our dog likes to leave his hair everywhere and it wasn't a huge issue. Would be a good place for dog walks. Our family had a great time staying here. There is a play park on site and we took a quick look, could do with a freshen up. We never visited the bar so can't comment. Overall nice few days away in rainy and sunny Yorkshire.

We do apologise for the unplanned power surge, when you called early Sunday morning, we were able to sort the issues within a few minutes but unfortunately, some things are beyond our control. The lodge is deep cleaned between every guest arrival/departure and as stated, we are dog friendly so an odd pesky hair may be hard to spot. We look forward to seeing you again and we are glad you enjoyed the extra touches Property Owner

SHERBURN

Filey 11.2 miles; Scarborough 11.4 miles; York 30.4 miles.

Sherburn is a village and civil parish lying in the county of North Yorkshire, although historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. Sherburn rests on the south side of the Vale of Pickering and is immediately north of the Yorkshire Wolds, as well as within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park to the north. Offering a great base for outdoor adventures throughout the North Yorkshire countryside, Sherburn is also not too far from Scarborough and Filey. The village is home to a Post Office, a pub, a convenience store and a newsagents, with a handful of other local businesses too. Nearby attractions include The Great Ryedale Maze, North Yorkshire Water Park, Wykeham Lakes Fishery, Playdale Farm Park, Go Ape Dalby and Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park.
