  • "A very comfortable cottage in convenient location."

Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice furnishings and decor we found the bed extremely comfortable the bedrooms could do with more hanging space or drawers this wasn't a problem for us as we used the small box room with the cot as a dressing room but if the cottage was at capacity clothes storage might be a challenge. It has two reasonable size bedrooms and the little box room proved very useful to keep everything tidy. Very good effecient shower and nice spacious bathroom. You have access to a large locking shed which would be ideal for a couple of bikes should you need it. The cottage is close to a good butchers shop which also sells fruit and veg and an excellent fish and chip shop which I highly recommend. A short level walk to the bottom of the main street in Haworth it's uphill from there on which might be something to consider for some people. We absolutely fell head over heels in love with Haworth and the moors are breathtaking. A couple of little things to mention to owners I would have liked to have more ovenware trays etc, a colander would be useful, also an outside washing line as there is a washer but no means to dry it and you don't want people putting washing on radiators. You have a great cottage with good outside space and the sign said "Mek thi' sen at 'ome we certainly did and thank you, we would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Thank-you for your review. I will definitely take on board your much appreciated comments. I’m so glad you liked my sign I handmade, “Mek thi’ sen at ‘ome” And more so “ Am reyt cuffed tha did “ Regards Diane and Ian Property Owner

  • "The Robins is a lovely cottage and the location is perfect parking is great with its own driveway (not many have this down the street) the lounge is lovely and sofas are really comfy."

Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals if you didn't fancy eating out. The only slight criticism would be the beds are a little soft for our liking but that's just personal preference so don't let that put you off And the welcome Easter egg and card was a lovely touch, many thanks

Thank you so much for your honest feedback, also for taking the time to comment We appreciate the honesty Hope you enjoyed the chocolate Property Owner

About the location

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
