  • "A very nice cottage with all you want for a relaxing holiday in a lovely place."

  • "Superb cottage."

I am not sure if in the details of the cottage that there is mention of not really being suitable for anyone disabled. There are two very deep steps at the front door, steps inside from the dining room to the kitchen. The stairs are quite steep and the step coming out of the bedrooms is quite difficult to manage if you are disabled.

The parking is an issue arriving on a Friday at 5pm a really busy time to find a space close by . We appreciate the problem with the property not having its own drive or parking space.

Thanks for the feedback, we dont usually have a problem parking, sorry you did when you arrived. Glad you liked the cottage. Property Owner

On the morning of booking we had recieved a lovely text from gilly & giles and on arrival we were so excited and blown away by this idyllic cottage. So beautifully clean and perfect for a Holliday away from home. They have thought of everything ! The cottage is in a perfect location and we highly recommend the pie pub which is local. Absolutely fab. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

It was a delight to come back to this little haven every evening after a busy day exploring the local area! It really felt like a home from home. It is perfectly located within the village and we were able to park opposite the property without difficulty. The Welcome Pack was a lovely touch, (especially the fresh local bread) and was very much appreciated. Fantastic stay. Thank you.

So glad you had a great time and we appreciate the comments. Property Owner

A really spacious and fun house to stay in. We stayed during covid times and the house was such a comfortable place to sit in the evenings. The kids loved it. Really magical house in a lovely wee village!

  • "Rosie Cottage is close to the incredibly stunning Filey beach (15 min."

drive or 1 hour walk). The Cottage is just off the high street in Hunmanby which has a boots, co-op, chinese restaurant, fish & chip shop and cracking butchers - everything you need for a self catering holiday. There were two of us & a dog. Rosie Cottage was spacious with lovely decor and a great heating system. It was cosy & very clean and we will definitely be booking it again. Big thanks to the Owners for thinking of everything & kitting the Cottage out so well!
