"Wow! What amazing views."
Was so relaxing sitting on the sofa looking out over the meadow seeing sheep in the fields and the sea beyond. The perfect cottage to relax and unwind. Spotlessly clean with everything you need, even down to a welcome bottle of prosecco and pint of milk. Our dog loved the garden to explore. Can’t wait to visit again, thank you Jackie & Tim xx

"We had a lovely, cheerful welcome from the owner."
There was milk, tea and biscuits on our arrival which was essential and a bottle of fizz to share.
The accommodation was spotless.
We had a beautiful view.
The Cinder Path running by the property provided a super walk and we met with some friendly people.
The fish and chip van at the village hall on Sunday was a treat.

"Meadow Cottage is an amazing property."
It is situated in a very quiet area with stunning countryside and sea views. There is a very large grassed area which our dog loved and very well maintained garden areas on all sides of the cottage. The cottage is well designed and maintained with an extremely high level of cleanliness. It is a perfect base for exploring surrounding areas. The owners live nearby but never disturb you, but are on hand at all times if there is a problem. They are very friendly people who truly care for their guests. We had a problem with the TV, so they called a repairman out to deal with it immediately. Visitors with mobility issues are shown the ramps and level paved area to get to the nearby private car park. We would highly recommend Meadow Cottage as a holiday destination and will be returning as soon as possible. Thank you to Jackie and Tim

"We had a lovely week enjoying the comfort of Meadow cottage."
The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The views from the lounge were stunning and the location was great for visiting Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Filey and Flamborough Hrad where we saw seals and Dolphins. Have already recommended it to family and would recommend it to anyone. The hosts were friendly and it was good to know they were on hand if we needed anything.

"Lovely, well thought out cottage, very clean, well equipped and comfortable, with an absolutely stunning sea view."
All set in what I can only call beautiful grounds, garden just doesn’t do it justice! I was able to store my mountain bike in the owner’s very large shed. Easy access to The Cinder Track cycle path from 3 places in the village. Enjoyed every minute of my 5 night stay exploring the area, coast etc on my bike and by car with my dog, Belle. Owners were extremely welcoming, helpful and chatty. Would highly recommend this well positioned cottage. Places a must to visit, Ravenscar, Hayburn Wyke, Whitby and Runswick Bay.

Bit of the beaten track but that's what we wanted. Fabulous walks, Fab little village, we don't really do pubs, but one only a small drive away or taxi. Owners on site and nothing too much trouble, very warm and welcoming. Can't wait to return to see you all again. Good luck in your adventure. Thank you for an peaceful and amazing stay.
