  • "Excellent property all on one level with private enclosed outdoor space that suited us with the wee dog."

Lovely clean flat with exposed beams. Everything was as photographed and was clean & good quality. We were pleasantly surprised by the few grocery “necessities” provided. Would recommend as the flat and location were excellent. We could visit the surrounding area easily. Parking was excellent in site too. Didn’t use the pool !! Looked fab !! Hosts were friendly & willing to answer our questions about the area.

The hosts are very pleasant and not in your space, just “there if you need us”. The pool is lovely and the location is brilliant for lots of nice walks and beaches.

It is well fitted out, very clean and warm. The view from the cottage is stunning and the pool was an added bonus. An excellent base for visiting Malton, Pickering etc and also for Wolds Way walking.

  • "Great stay, Eugene & Lucy great hosts."

I can't fault a thing apart from the lack of a washing machine in the kitchen. And my hosts offered me the use of theirs! And the pool is a fantastic amenity! I'll be back if you'll have me.

Can’t speak highly enough about my stay here. The scenery, walks and the owners helpfulness was fantastic. The swimming pool is wonderful, and the accommodation is excellent and spotless. Highly recommend.

  • "The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival."

It was well laid out, ideal for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. There was bread, milk and a cute chocolate cake in the kitchen waiting when we arrived. Fresh eggs were offered by the host, who was friendly and welcoming. The pool was a good size and nice temperature.

  • "Cowshed Cottage is a sweet little cottage with an outside seating area and parking."

The cottage is ideal for two people with a lovely shower, large comfortable bed and wonderful views. It is in a lovely setting on a farm with lots of open space and some lovely trees. There were goats and chickens in the field outside, which were a source of amusement, and a great swimming pool. When we arrived there was tea, coffee, milk and a cake waiting for us. The cottage was ideally situated with good road links.

  • "Small but warm, clean and tidy."

My three night occupancy in November (fireworks weekend) of one adult and one very small Lhasa was probably just right. Two adults at this time of year may be a push if each likes their own space now and again. Outside environment well cared for.

  • "We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Cowshed Cottage."

My son is autistic and the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure he enjoyed his stay. The personal touches that the owners did to make sure everything was perfect were really appreciated. The animals were friendly, the space was delightful and the heated indoor pool made my son’s week. He spent hours every day playing and relaxing in the quiet pool. The fresh eggs were delicious and my son learned how to make boiled eggs while we were there. We can’t wait to return. His only request for his return is to please fix the internet so that he can play Minecraft and stream his favourite programs

Great value for money in the perfect place to have day trips , the grounds were very well kept all grass areas looked after very well . The only small thing was the shower and Toilet room towel rack was red hot all of the time which made the room very very hot.what with the hot weather we had last week was tough to spend time in there , but saying that I would still go back tomorrow if I had the chance , P.S the swimming pool was out of this world bonus

Rillington is a small village and civil parish located on the A64 road in North Yorkshire, with easy links to the historical city of York and the bustling coastal town of Scarborough. Rillington was mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Survey and is now home to a Post Office, two pubs, The Coach and Horses and The Fleece, and a church. Further afield into the city of York, you can discover the incredible York Minster and grand city walls.
