  • "We had a wonderful week in this beautiful new (2020) modern barn conversion in a peaceful, beautiful and quiet area of East Yorkshire, on a working grain farm."

Excellent host, short drive to several seaside towns and the beautiful market town of Beverley. Excellent for access to great food -local farming produce and fresh seafood if you cook and high end restaurants if you want to eat out. Despite the variable weather, it was an excellent break and we loved it.

  • "Wonderful setting on a working farm - Jim and Rachel could not have been more welcoming and kind."

Just one slight inaccuracy in directions - in printed instructions, the accomodation is on the RIGHT-hand side of the road, not the LEFT.

We found milk bread and bubbly in the fridge which made the start of our holiday so lovely. The whole setting was so quiet and peaceful... Rachel and Jim the owners were so lovely with ideas for walks too.. we had a fantastic week there and we will definitely be back and recommend this special find to friends. We had a full week of walks around the area which were so easy to get to.... and especially when you have a lovely relaxing retreat to come back to...

  • "Amazing cottage, both stylish and cosey."

Myself and my partner had a lovely relaxing weeking together here to celebrate his birthday. It was lovely escape from our day to day lives especially during these uncertain times. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and the shower was amazing after a day of walking. The complimentary bread, milk and flapjacks were a nice extra too. We enjoyed every moment of out stay and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.

The surrounding area is beautiful and there are many beautiful beaches a drive away. The owners were extremely helpful to us and very friendly. Some lovely homemade bread awaited our arrival. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay we would highly recommend.
