  • "Bumblebee Cottage is a lovely place to stay."

It is near the town centre and shops. It is beautifully presented, very clean and everything is of high quality. The welcome pack was a nice surprise as were the dog treats, hand wash, washing up liquid and tablets for the dish washer. Dogs aren't allowed upstairs which is fair enough. The small garden at the back was a lovely place to sit. I would certainly recommend it.

  • "A lovely short break at Bumblebee Cottage."

Very clean, tidy and comfortable - felt really homely! Bed was comfortable, and the furnishings throughout the cottage were fab! A lovely welcome pack left for our arrival! Near to Beverley town centre - just a short walk away to a range of shops, cafes and pubs. Woodlands not too far either to walk our dog Zara.

  • "What a great find Bumblebee Cottage was!"

It was tastefully decorated, well equipped in every room, really comfortable bed and exceptionally clean. The garden was perfect to relax in after a day exploring and a real sun trap with great outdoor furniture. There was a wonderful welcome pack and even treats for our dog! Convenient location, just a short walk into town centre and some lovely dog walks on the doorstep. There are several nice pubs close by which are all dog friendly. Parking was fine, the majority of time we were able to park right outside. We will definitely return to this fabulous cottage!

  • "Beautiful property, comfortable and welcoming in an excellent location, the welcome basket was lovely too."

We slept like logs in the very comfortable bed and loved having the choice of a bath or a shower! My only negative is there is no washing machine. I stay in rental cottages a lot and this is the first one without this facility, no problem if only staying a day or 2 but a week or longer it’s a necessity in my opinion.

The owners were very informative and friendly. Nothing seem to be to much trouble for them. There was even a welcome basket.

  • "We have nothing else to add to the comments in the visitors/guest book."

They all echoed what we were saying before we read them. Our comments to you personally would be firstly parking. It wasn’t clear to us if there was a physical permit for us at the property, one that we’d need to dive in to get and put in the car? No great drama but if this was mentioned in the online format, rather than/in addition to the A4 binder that would’ve helped. Lastly, the standard of fixtures and fitting is well documented, but let down by the electric budget ‘Log burner’ effect fire. It was plenty warm enough, very toasty, but the fan is so loud the tv volume needs to be sky high. Not good for upstairs, or neighbours. Please don’t see these as negative comments, they only reflect how fantastic everything else is. Kind regards Steve and Helen Martin

The cottage was spotless, everything had been so well-thought out to create a real home-from-home. The location is fantastic for exploring Beverley, which has so much history to discover. We also managed a quick trip to the coast, as this was easily accessible from the cottage location. We will be returning again soon, thank you.
