    “Lovely cottage”

    On arrival we were greeted by welcome gifts of wine,eggs,fresh flowers and even some milk . Inside the cottage is very spacious with a lovely open plan living space, the bedrooms are all good sized . This cottage has all the home from home things you will need and is in a good quiet location we found the large parking area very useful when our friends and family came to visit. Thank you again to Sharon for a great relaxing stay and also for being so helpful

Sowerby is a mile away, with excellent pubs and eateries, while the amenities of Thirsk are also close by.

This Sowerby cottage makes an ideal base for enjoying the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough, as well as the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors or the city of York, and is an ideal holiday home for some well earned 'R and R', any time of year.

With the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east, Thirsk is just half a mile away, boasting a cobbled market place, splendid Georgian buildings, a Norman church and excellent pubs, shops, restaurants, a cinema, a racecourse and a leisure centre.
