    So peaceful and relaxing. The little welcome gift of the prosecco and cookies just added to it. Wonderful holiday home and the view from the hot tub was lovely .   • "This is the second time staying here in 4 months."

    (I don't know why my last review was never published) The lodge is just gorgeous and has literally everything you need. The owners are really helpful and when we had an issue with the hot tub last time they were straight there to fix it. For being so close to Catterick also it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. It is so peaceful and quiet. We will def be back for a third visit!   • "The lodge was lovely and warm when we arrived, and throughout our stay."

  • "This holiday cottage was great."

    We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything you could need and more - the furnishings etc were excellent quality and the hot tub was an added bonus. The owners Trevor and Margaret are very nice people and only a phone call away if you needed them. There are walks from the doorstep as well as places of interest just a short drive away. Peaceful location - would highly recommend.

  • "I recently spent three nights here with the wife for some peace and quiet and take time out to relax."

    The accommodation was delightful, very comfortable and the hot tub is a wonderful addition to help relax after a day out. Every room was clean and tidy and we instantly felt at home, especially with all the mod cons available. Communication from the owners was excellent, very speedy responses to a couple of questions and the welcome drinks and cookies were lovely. There are also some lovely spots to visit, in particular Richmond and I would highly recommend the lodge and area to anyone.

  • "Lovely location, just south of the moors, and a 5 minute ride to the countryside."

    Perfect for 2 people and a lovely little surprise waiting for you. Hot tub was already and waiting. Quiet and peaceful. Hosts at a becon call if required. Maybe a touch more £ than others on site, but worth it. Totally recommended

  • "The place was perfect, homely and clean."

    It’s in a perfect location for peace and relaxation. The welcome back was a lovely touch, we enjoyed the prosecco and biscuits after a dip in the hot tub on the first night. On our final night the hot tub started beeping with an error message. I text the number provided on the booking and Trevor was with us within 20 minutes and he even checked in to make sure we were happy with everything else in the lodge. I’d definitely book again, they seem like a very lovely couple!

  • "Absolutely fabulous."

    What a beautiful touch to have welcome pack Prosecco and biscuits with beautifully written card milk in fridge was a bonus. The lodge was very clean very well equipped and has everything you need and more, Perfect. The welcome information pack is compact full of information needed to enable your stay to be perfect. Our 3 day stay just got better and better. Would definitely book again so peaceful and relaxing. I had a mishap whilst at the lodge I contacted the owner and he was very supportive and assisted us immediately without any hassle. Thank you. Xx NB you will need to take own slippers, robes and towels for hot tub.

  • "Clean,comfortable and spacious."

    Very nice at the back also. Hot tub, beautiful roses and access with good paths around a huge grass meadow with a view across to the edge of the Yorkshire moors. We enjoyed the welcome biscuits and prosecco too. Thank you

  • "We had an absolutely wonderful stay!"

    The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt so cozy and welcoming - truly a home away from home. The thoughtful welcome treats were such a lovely touch and made us feel instantly comfortable. Every detail, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped facilities, was perfect. We especially loved the private back area with the hot tub, such a peaceful and relaxing spot to unwind. The surroundings were quiet and serene, making it the ideal place to recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a memorable experience, and we would happily return again. Highly recommended!

Badgers Retreat - Two Dales is a beautifully presented lodge situated near the serene village of Tunstall North Yorkshire.

Upon entering this single-storey retreat, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, housing a well-equipped kitchen and dining area alongside a welcoming sitting room.

Here, you can unwind while catching up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV.

A dining table for two invites the chef of the relationship to cook up something divine using the electric double oven and the electric hob.
