  • “This was a fabulous holiday cottage which was well equipped and clean.”

However, just a few things let it down. There was no mirror in the bedroom which had been adapted to be more accessible. The mirror in the accessible bathroom was set high on the wall above a toilet and cistern which made it difficult to look in and if you were in a wheelchair you wouldn’t be able to use it. However, just a few things let it down. There was no mirror in the bedroom which had been adapted to be more accessible. The mirror in the accessible bathroom was set high on the wall above a toilet and cistern which made it difficult to look in and if you were in a wheelchair you wouldn’t be able to use it. I found the settee quite uncomfortable, despite using two pillows behind my back to give me support, as the back of the settee slopes a long way back. The parking for the three holiday holiday cottages could do to being longer for the size of today’s cars. Cutting two feet into the banking at the back of the parking area would greatly increase access. Parking was made more difficult because the entrance to the holiday cottage parking area was slightly blocked by a car belonging to the cottage at the entrance. Finally, one very minor point, the main door in the lounge area could not be fixed back in an open position to allow fresh air in - it kept blowing back and forth. Perhaps a hook could be fixed to the wall. I don’t understand one reviewer’s comment about the fridge - it was fine!
