  • "Perfect location for our stay, central to lots of different areas - a good base for exploring North Yorkshire!"

The property was clean when we arrived and the garden provides a safe space for the kids to run around. Lots of information on local activities was provided which was useful. The house is a short walk to the local train station with links to York and Scarborough. Malton town centre is easily accessible from the house too, with plenty of options for eating out/takeaways and some lovely shops to nosey in. The pillows in the bedroom could be a little more comfortable (personal preference) but apart from that our stay was perfect!

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Lambs Fold."

The house is very comfortable and traditional with a modern bathroom and kitchen. It was very central to everything we wanted to visit such as Eden Camp and Scarborough. We even went to a local farm park called piglet farm where the children were able to bottle feed lambs. Malton town centre was a 15 min walk from the house or 5 mins in the car and york park and ride about 20 mins I would recommend this property at it was very clean, cosy and a great location

Thank you for the positive feedback and really pleased you enjoyed your stay . It is a really good location for trips in all directions. Hope you are able to visit again in the future. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Having stayed here during changeable weather I can promise this is a lovely cosy little house - cosy in cold weather but also comfortable on warmer days."

Perfect modern windows to open! The lounge is comfy and the bedrooms are beautiful and there is even a sensor night light in the landing plug to find the bathroom! Plenty of storage space too - wardrobes etc. It’s in a quiet little cul de sac and has its own off road parking on a gravel driveway. You could probably fit two cars on it but there is also space to park on the road. You can walk to the shops - supermarkets are nearby or make a very short drive! It’s spotlessly clean and modern - obviously been recently refurbished to a high standard. For example when you are in the bathroom you would think you were in a hotel! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There is a lovely back garden with a decent sized lawn and garden furniture which is looked after perfectly. We even had the use of a shed - perfect for bikes etc. It’s perfect for activities, being only a five minute drive from joining the A64 - about half an hour to York in one direction, and about half an hour to the coast in the other direction (Scarborough, Filey, Flamborough, Hunmanby etc, depending how touristy you want!). Also it’s only about half an hour to the beautiful moors in another direction - head to Pickering then to Newton Upon Rawcliffe - keep driving through there and you’re in the moors after about 10 mins! The owners were very helpful and quick to respond when we had a question. They obviously look after the house very well and care about their guests. All the PAT testing and smoke alarm checks were up to date, and there was fire equipment so we felt very safe. All in all, we would definitely return - no booker’s regret at all. If you book this lovely little home (bigger than it looks!) you won’t be sorry!

  • "I have stayed in this house with my mum while we had work done on our own house and have been very happy doing so."

It is comfortable, warm, clean, has a cosy atmosphere - especially when enjoying meals in the dining room, with a lovely window view - and is situated in a quiet area with easy parking (important for a mum who can’t park!). It has good WiFi connection (important for a 17 year old!), a beautifully relaxing shower, and very comfortable beds. The owners have been very accommodating and considerate in letting us stay for a long period of time. I was very sad to leave and I miss it - lots of happy memories!

  • "Excellent property, very clean and good location for visiting York and surrounding areas, including coastline."

Liked that the shower was a walk in and separate from bedrooms. Would stay again.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments. Really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon as there is so much to explore in the area. Richard Property Owner
