  • "First class holiday cottage, lovely and clean , had everything that you need."

Deb the owner well looks after you , even reserved us a parking place with her own vehicle which was brilliant as parking can be a struggle sometimes. If I could have given 10 stars I would have. Great holiday and very comfortable stay , thanks

So lovely to walk into the cottage to find, chocolates, biscuits, fresh flowers, milk in the fridge, wine and a welcoming note waiting for us! Thanks to Deb (owner) for the personal touch. Cottage has everything you need, a definite home from home. Can't wait until our next stay!

The owners were great at communicating, the location is within easy walking distance of all main attractions and the cottage had a lovely hole away from home feel.

  • "What a fantastic property, we had such a lovely break."

Great location in close walking distance to North Bay, South Bay, Town Centre and the Castle! On a quiet street with parking too. The cottage was immaculate, newly decorated and really cosy for a winter stay. Bottle of wine and cake on arrival and even milk in the fridge. An ideal spot to explore Scarborough, we would go back tomorrow!

  • "We had a really lovely stay at 6 St."

Marys Walk. It was a literal port in the storm as we were there when Arwen hit, and didn't even notice while inside. House was very clean, and there was a box of chocolates, which my kids appreciated, some milk, and a bottle of wine, so all good. Would definately stay here again

  • "I would highly recommend this property."

It is perfectly located in a quiet street and parking was always available nearby. The property itself was very clean, well presented and the beds very comfortable. The owner had put milk and wine in the fridge and also left a box of sweets which were very much appreciated after our very long drive. Will definitely be returning to this property.

  • "The cottage has been finished to a fantastic standard."

It is very well equipped and feels cosy which was just what we needed, especially with some rainy days! We had hour 8 month old little boy with us and Deb went the extra mile by putting black out fixtures to the curtain which meant our little man slept like a dream (thank you so much!!). When we arrived there were biscuits, wine, hot chocolate and milk which was a very welcoming touch. Deb was incredibly helpful when I messed up the parking permit and dropped new ones off the same evening. The cottage is situated in the perfect spot, although the hill is steep to the home - it is only short and is quickly forgotten about when you reach the top. We barely used the car as everything was so accessible by foot. My only recommendations would be a little foot pouffe/stool for a little extra comfort and maybe an extra lamp. It was honestly so clean and cosy, we are definitely wanting to go back if Debs will have us! My only advice is, make sure you read the instructions for the parking permit properly to avoid debs having to do an unnecessary trip (sorry again Deb!) Thanks for a fantastic stay.

  • "The house is situated in a quiet part of town away from the hustle and bustle of the sea front."

It is very clean and well equipped. Ideal for families. We were two adults and two teenagers. Everywhere is walkable. The train station is also easily accessible with hourly trains to York making this a great day trip. Whitby is also less than an hours drive. The indoor market is around the corner. Lots of lovely fruit and cakes for sale along with a café selling freshly cooked breakfasts - well worth a visit.

  • "A fabulous newly refurbished cottage, superbly presented, and contains everything you need for a comfortable stay."

The location of the property is superb being just a short walk to the North Bay cliff top (beach). Parking can be tricky at times, however we always managed to find a spot close by. Only a 5 min. walk from the excellent under cover market and the top of the town and harbour. Due to the steepness of old town Scarborough were the cottage is located this would probably not be the best choice for people with mobility issues.
