  • "No shop for small items Lots of cobwebs in the cottage No hoover"

  • "We informed the manager on the second day that there were 10 -12 Wasps in the property each day which we eradicated."

This problem persisted every day, which made us on edge for out dog. The problem was ongoing for the remainder of the stay. The hob tripped out all electrics we informed the manager, however, we coped with just using 3 rings. There was no shop on site when we visited so be aware. The cottage was in a good position to visit attractions in the area. We would have vacuumed round on leaving but no machine was available.

  • "We texted about wifi and issues with TV after the first night; we had no reply at all."

Wifi was non existent and the pictures on the TVs pixilated on main stream channels. There were 3 TVs and one in the kitchen didn’t seem to work at all. The poor wifi was the biggest disappointment.

  • "We enjoyed the quietness of the site and its attractive setting."

The cottage is more spacious than I expected and tastefully decorated which helped us to relax. The bed was very comfortable. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was especially appreciated as the weather was quite cool. We were unable to turn the central heating on but I probably didn't follow the instructions. However, there was an electric fire in the living room. There was everything we needed for our stay A few more cups would be useful. We had a very enjoyable stay, thank you

  • "We were woken at 8."

Am each morning by a digger working behind the cottage the outlook from the property was bad you either looked at bins or a building the photos is misleading not what I expect from the Yorkshire dales the shower did not have a grab rail or a slip mat for safety. I had a fall from the front paving step this is moving but also there is no handrail or markings to show such a high step . I have bruised my arms and legs .I have photos so not very happy holiday spoilt

  • "Cottage was freezing cold on arrival and it took a while to figure out the heating controls and get the property warmed up."

Kitchen facilities quite basic, no dish cloth or tea towel provided but overall the cottage was clean, comfortable and made for an enjoyable stay.

  • "Nice quiet situation."

Clean, comfortable & roomy, nice lounge & bedroom with comfortable bed. 3 televisions, one with catch up tv. Dishwasher, washing machine. Lacking somewhat in kitchen necessities - no baking tray for the oven, only one egg cup, one small glass, no cleaning materials or cloths to mop up spills, only one dishcloth. Tea towels not provided. The shower tray didn't drain first time shower used, but despite reporting it, no one came to remedy it & my husband eventually cleared it himself using a borrowed plunger. Air vent in bathroom wasn't working. Other than these small ' niggles', a nice comfortable property.
