  • "A lovely clean and well equipped place."

Only one question,Where is the hot tub as advertised

Hi, thanks for the comment and kind feedback. We’re happy that you enjoyed the stay. We are sorry about the confusion with the hot tub. We have never had a hot tub at the property. We have clarified with Sykes and they have suggested that there is no mention of one of the property advert, so we’re not sure what happened there. Hopefully this comment will help to serve as clarity for future bookings too so we appreciate you bringing that to our attention. Thanks :) Property Owner

  • "28 Manor Road Scarborough is a spacious ground floor property which is immaculate!"

Clean, bright, well decorated and very well resourced-lovely bedding, towels and everything needed in the kitchen including a washer dryer. We came with our baby granddaughter and her parents and brought our own cot. It would have been useful to have a high chair. I have spoken to the owner and she explained that it wasn’t aimed at families with children as there is no real suitable outside space but babies are possible. The main reason that she didn’t consider it suitable for families with children is because of the very steep and difficult stairs leading from the back gate outside which one can park. My husband and I (aged 82 and 79) found them very difficult and would not have managed to unpack the car and carry suitcases etc down them if we hadn’t had our younger relatives with us. As we didn’t use the car every day, we used the front door and I suppose that one could always walk round by the road. Our stay was a very happy, comfortable one.

All clean and well thought out with everything required for a comfortable stay.Super King size bed was fabulous , we slept really well. Appreciated the milk in the fridge on arrival. Would stay again if we are in the area another time.

  • "It's a great place, very clean and comfortable, I would only stay on the summer though, not when you need the heating on, the thermostat was set to 19 degree's and only on for a couple of hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening and pin protected so we couldn't change it so it was really quite cold at lunchtime."

I really expect to have control of the heating for a property like this and the time of year we stayed.

  • "We absolutely loved our week here."

Everything you need. Clean comfortable and at the top of the town centre. Supermarket up the road as is the train station. Little shop across the road. Can't fault the place at all. I know you're new to renting this property out. The only thing I'd say in your welcome pack as I know this is new is bin day and what colour bin holds what rubbish/recycling. But loved it here. Didn't want to go home!!

Thank you, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and the feedback is much appreciated. We will make sure to add the bins to the welcome pack. Property Owner
