Very clean, and fully equipped in the kitchen for all self-catering needs. Shower good and bed comfy. The parking permit is a bonus in Scarborough, and Gillian (the owner) was even happy to give it to me when I arrived early. The WiFi is excellent and supported my Fire Tv Cube with no problems. Beaches, cliffs and hills are all easily accessible from the apartment. Great beaches here and also in Filey and Bridlington. If you like walking I recommend Ravenscar to Robin Hood’s Bay, Speeton to Bempton cliffs, or inland to walk the Hole of Horcum which is fabulous. Everything within 40 mins of the apartment. Definitely recommend. Reviewed by KathJun 2022 "The flat was very clean and well looked after." Gillian provided clean towels etc halfway through the holiday. Also milk, coffee, tea and biscuits were there when we arrived. Gillian also phoned during the stay to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. Nice amenities and nip and clean. Pretty quiet area even during new year. Owner started us off with some fresh milk and biscuits on arrival and plenty of tea and coffee making option's. Nice extras don't go a miss, thanks Gillian All linen/towels spotless and apartment was clean throughout. Can't fault it really in anyway. Even the dishwasher was easy to use and Internet worked like a charm with our firestick and Netflix subscription. Great time had by both of us on our New Year break. Dave and Sarah Lloyd. Meal out tip: try the green room restaurant on bar street in the south Bay for a real treat. There courses and wine will set you back about £40 a head, but lovely. The owner Gillian met us on arrival and was very helpful in advising us where the local pubs, shops, takeaways and restaurants were. She'd even taken on board that we were on public transport and gave us details of the various bus routes we needed to get out and about. There were more than adequate supplies of tea and coffee. The accommodation was very clean and bedding, towels, toilet and kitchen rolls were also supplied. We had a really good week and Gillian's mid week call to check if everything was OK was a nice touch. Gillian was such an excellent host that she even returned some washing we'd left in the machine. We'd certainly recommend this property. Reviewed by MichaelAug 2019 "Excellent apartment with all the extras needed to make a holiday stay easy." Plenty of cooking utensils and essentials that were needed. Gillian is a lovely lady, she left a packet of biscuits and milk, so we had a lovely cup of tea upon arrival [it was needed]. Bed was lovely and comfortable, maybe suggest a king size quilt for the bed. Trafalgar Square, where Tree Tops is situated was nice and quiet. Bus stop at the top of the road was handy after a day out, we caught the bus home at only 50p each, what a bargain. 2 supermarkets close by, a lovely pub for Sunday lunch [The Castle Tavern], everything within walking distance. We will definitely be staying at Tree Tops again soon. Recommended. Reviewed by ElaineApr 2019 "COULD NOT FAULT ANYTHING." COMMUNICATION EXCELLANT, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND . There is also a generous supply of crockery and cutlery. The sitting room area has a sofa, Tv and dvd player plus table and 2 chairs. In the bedroom there is the largest wardrobe I have ever seen so plenty of room for your clothes. Situated in Trafalgar Square in north Scarborough this flat is in a great position as it is near enough to the town centre for all the facilities but in a quieter part of Scarborough where parking is easier. This is a great flat and I highly recommend it. Reviewed by AlisonJul 2018 "The flat was small but otherwise fine." Gillian, the owner, was very nice so no problems except for the television. It was a little old set, the usb port didn't work and the dvd player kept jumping. I cannot understand why there are so many rubbish televisions in self catering properties. I have stayed with Sykes 4 times now, twice with my sister, and three out of the four had a television we would have thrown out. The point of self catering is that if you just want to stay in and chill you can do, so how come the television is not given a thought. Gillian, I would suggest the purchase of a new set post haste! and all you other property owners take note. This is a relatively cheap purchase, get your acts together and Sykes please give it some attention.
