  • "This is our third visit to Seaside Breeze."

We like the location & normally love this nice little apartment. However we did have some issues this time. Mainly concerning the bathrooms. It looks like they have been refurbished recently. In the en suite bathroom the floor was quite dirty with dust around the skirting boards, a few long black hairs & a wall plug on the floor. Also for some reason there was no mirror in either bathroom. This made getting ready/shaving etc. very awkward & was quite inconvenient. The new shower however was lovely. The rest of the apartment was clean enough & the kitchen well equipped although a tea towel would have been handy. The double bed was firm but comfortable although the quilt didn't seem big enough! When we arrived the apartment was icy cold. The heating wouldn't come on then we realised the boiler pressure had gone below one. We sorted this & got heating but it took ages to warm the place up. All in all we enjoyed our stay & would probably return if mirrors were installed in the bathrooms!

  • "This is a lovely flat in a great location but it needs a few maintenance issues sorting out as have been mentioned in other feedback."

Both showers are a nightmare to use as the clips that hold them are broken. Also, no splash back in the kitchen has led to someone covering the wall with grease marks which looks awful. Cushions on sofa are a bit grubby and the windows in the bedrooms need some privacy frosting applied as you can not open the blinds at all. These jobs are all inexpensive but need doing. In addition, the bin area is not the easiest to navigate and maybe some instructions should be left to help people work out where they are. A TV in the master bedroom would also be a good idea, as this flat is great for four people but only one tv and no dressing tables, even though the bedrooms are huge.

  • "A lovely flat."

Handy for the shops at Ramshill and the seafront and only a short walk into town. Bed was very comfortable but both shower heads need fixing as neither of them would stay up and kept slipping down. We had no hot water on arrival but the owner sorted it out very quickly. We enjoyed our short break in Scarborough and in Seaside Breeze.

  • "The door to the building needed a clean and the common entrance smelt a bit musty."

The flat itself was clean, bright and comfortable but there were issues that needed attention. There was no information pack left by the owner, no information at all. The wall behind the cooker needed a splash back as it was covered by fat splashes which created a bad impression. The toilet seat in the shower room was broken and some of the shower fittings were also broken. I texted the owner/manager about theses matters but nothing happened. The two bedrooms need net curtains as well as the blinds as there are flats very close to the rear of the property. The decor of the flat had an unfinished feel. The occupant of the flat above was very heavy footed at night. The flat needs improvement to bring it up to Sykes standard.

  • "The main bedroom is very big but only a Queen bed and no dressing table."

All blinds have very hard to reach pull cords (I'm 6'2" and had problems) Lack of accessories in kitchen...no potato peeler, no baking trays, no tongues. Definitely not laid out for people who want to cook each day! Both shower head brackets broke! Main bedroom stank of smoke! No directions how to use cooker or microwave, no instructions on Fire evacuation or where bins are. Main bathroom door doesn't open properly. Parking tickets only available for 6 days. There does not seem to have been a lot of thought gone into this unit, certainly not up to the standard we've come to expect from Sykes. I hope the owners learn from our feedback.

  • "This is a superb apartment-modern, light and spacious with everything we needed for our stay."

In a perfect spot for access to the dog-friendly south beach, and a lovely area of Scarborough. There are shops and take aways just around the corner, as well as a couple of good, dog friendly pubs within short walking distance. Parking right outside-a disc was provided by the host. We were left a welcome pack which included doggie treats. Super comfy beds and two bathrooms-all very clean. Quick communication when needed. Definitely recommend

  • "Lovely property."

V close to cliff lift to get to beach and close to shops too. Great location. The living area/kitchen/dining is absolutely lovely. Nice decor well equipped and v clean.(Except the wall behind the hob and sink - needs a splashback or tiles.). The bedrooms are also beautifully decorated and presented and so clean. Well equipped. The only downside is the ensuite which needs some TLC (wobbly loo seat, mouldy shower grout, shower head holder broken so doesn't stay up and towel heater hanging forward off the wall) Main bathroom lovely and clean. (Only shower head holder issues again. Cracked and couldn't move it to make shower at a useful height/angle. Needs attention.). Beds lovely and comfy. Upstairs neighbour woke us up at 6am two mornings but can't be helped in a flat. Blind cords are v high and hard to reach but we managed. Hairdrier would be handy. Overall a lovely property and would defo stop again. Great 'welcome pack' with milk bread and malt loaf. Thank you!

We replaced the handle but couldnt secure it properly. The apartment above very noisey in early hours of most days we stayed.lots walking stomping banging about for several hours from 3am to 4/5 am, not acceptable. The apartment is in good location but several properties further along the row are used by drug ,alcohol dependent persons, & where seen & heard regularly in the street morning & night.

Perfect location. Perfect holiday. The accommodation is light, bright and airy. So well presented. The sofas and beds were so comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, everything has been thought of. Having two bathrooms was an added bonus. The property is in the perfect location. It is near to shops and a 15 minute stroll to the beach. One of our party had mobility issues so we made use of the lift located close to the spa. Scarborough itself has something for everyone of ages. Even the dog was catered for, as most of the beaches are dog friendly. All in all we have had a fantastic holiday.
