Everything has been thought of, down to the smallest details. Lovely welcome pack, much appreciated. Little lambs at the end of the patio. Secure garden for Buddy. Warm, cosy, wonderful

It was clean and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly, helpful and provided useful information for the area. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. The property is well situated for access to the coastal path and a walking route from Whitby to Scarborough. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Thank you for providing feedback for Hayloft Cottage. Feedback is extremely important for both owners and Sykes to ensure property standards are maintained and we are sorry to hear you had issues during your stay. Hayloft is an old cottage set within the beautiful but hilly North York Moors National Park and therefore has its own charm and character to be expected of a property of this age in this area. It is very popular with other Sykes guests due to these factors with many guests returning again. We have taken your comments on board and apologise for your issues. Property Owner

Note though the garden is a small courtyard with a picnic table and there is no garden with this property. Pics suggest there is a grassed area with this listing. Worth noting if you're going with kids who need a grassed area to play in.

It was very clean and well supplied with everything that we needed. The back garden was enclosed and safe for my dog and child. It is in a great location for seeing the area, close to several lovely dog friendly beaches and local walks. Not suitable if you do not have your own car!

We loved the fact it was not overrun with people and we could see the bay from the courtyard. The garden was just right - secluded and peaceful, while the family appreciated the wifi and TV! The cakes were also a great welcome when we arrived.

It was so clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. A lovely welcoming pack was left for us when we arrived and a brilliant system for key collection. This cottage has fabulous views as soon as you step through the front door. Cara advised us which local pubs were dog friendly and we took advantage of this and had some lovely meals out. Not far from Scarborough or Whitby this beautiful cottage is in the open countryside. Perfect for a family and very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend

Such a beautiful location to discover the Yorkshire coast. The scenery from the cottage is to die for. Would definitely go again. You are in the beautiful Yorkshire dales and coast but so close to the popular resorts. The cottage is full of character and warm and cosy. The barn conversion has been done to a very high standard. The host are a lovely couple nothing is too much trouble if you have a problem. Sorry to leave.

The cottage was warm, cosy and very clean and had the facilities and amenities you need. Directions to the property were easy to follow and normal cars/suv would have no problems accessing the property a very low sports car might have a slight issue on the drive into property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a dog friendly holiday it is above average in both condition and it's facilities. The only issue we had was a poorish WiFi signal but nothing at all to worry about. Thank you for a great week HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

As a bonus it was set in an idyllic location in beautiful countryside, with fantastic views out to sea. I couldn't recommend this property highly enough and the owners should rightly be very proud of it.

This was our third booking here and would return in a heartbeat. Our 2 springer spaniels settle in very well and there are so many amazing walks to take them on. The cottage is superbly equipped and very comfortable and although the cottages are next to the owners home you are never disturbed yet are made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable. I have highly recommended this cottage to friends and family and will continue to do so.
