  • "Well, what can we say… The Barn has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in."

From the wonderful owners whose attention to detail is like no other, to the accommodation with the amazing location and facilities. The peaceful environment was incredible and we felt immediately at home and relaxed within minutes of our arrival. The Barn was extremely well equipped with excellent Wi-Fi reception, easy access to lovely pubs, walks from the house and to attractions such as Castle Howard etc. We were very sad to leave!

  • "Lovely, spacious, well equipped accommodation and the owners, who live next door, are very welcoming and helpful."

Dog owners should note that the kitchen/living area is open plan. The property is situated in a very quiet, rural, area so expect a short drive to shops and pubs.. This is peace and quiet at it’s very best and very enjoyable.

Judy, thank you for being our firsts guests! So glad you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed your time in the barn and all that the area has to offer. Thank you also for noting the open plan. Future guests who wish to make use of the available baby gate that we can provide to separate kitchen from living room can request this. Hope to welcome you back again. Nicola Property Owner
